“Good enough,but dirty!”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

This is a low budget hotel,if you travel in summer the prices are very low.The hotel is big and the rooms small, but modern and practical. There is a small nice swimming pool on the tpo,and 2 clubs downfloor. So you better choose one of the top floors room to avoid noise during the nights.Metro is very close. The worst thing is that there is no free wifi and it's not clean around.I found 4 bugs total during my stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room to avoid the hotel club noise at nights!

Will never stay in this place again. Walls between rooms are so thin that you will hear strange activities on the next room! Toilet is old and dirty and a horrible smell spreads in the whole room. Other guests could wait for hours because their booked room had been double- booked to other in per hour basis!

I booked this hotel because it's cheap and near the airport. It is also close to the Deira Souks. I wish I would have booked somewhere else because this hotel is dirty. I recommend renting a car because the taxis are expensive and if you want to see the city it's about a 20 minute taxi drive.
Why I do not recommend staying here:
1. My friends backpack had a cockroach in it after setting her bag on the bed.
2. The bathroom sink leaked so we constantly had to mop up water.
3. The carpet is stained and dirty.
4. The room stunk like cigarette smoke.
5. The room was extremely loud because of the club on the second floor.
6. Internet isn't free. It's expensive. 1 hour will cost you about $4USD.
7. The staff isn't very friendly.
8. Parking is very limited
9. The air conditioning cannot be turned down. It's super cold even when it's on low.
Stay your own risk.

We stayed four nights on the seventh floor, the room formed part of the curved facade of the building severely reducing floorspace, the room was pretty tight, the bathroom was clean although the flushing mechanism of the toilet needed to be held down tight to work properely.
Although we had a booking, the front desk staff attempted to overcharge us, a somewhat heated discussion rectified the problem although an official government document was under the counter with a tax per night of 10 AED, we paid that extra charge as the document looked official and I had no way of telling otherwise.

We were staying in this hotel for two nights which we havent slept beacuse of terrible noise from some odd party on 2-nd floor. You could hear this sound from every hotel floors. Just give up breakfast and go find some cereal in supermarket cause food is rubbish there. Toilet not well maintained.

Well, it is not the best hotel in Dubai but bare in mind the price of the rooms. The location is good for tourists - there are dozens of restaurants, kebap places and fast food restaurants around. Al riga metro station is close and you can go everywhere basically. There is a night club on the ground floor of the hotel and they say ot is noisy but in the room we got, we did not hear anything. There is a parking you can use.
