“Good location but not on the beach”
Reviewed 10 August 2010

A good location for a short shopping trip stay in Dubai. The hotel is in a great locaton next to the largest shopping mall in the world(?).

Rooms were nice and if you are in the club rooms you gain access to the club lounge with free all day buffet which offers a great way to relax in the evening before heading out. The hotel has a nice pool and a nice bar at the top with great views of Burj Al Khaleefa.

The Address is to me the best spot for a city trip to Dubai. The Dubai Mall with the little cafes and restaurants along the water fountain is in walking distance, the hotel has great views on the Burj Khalifa, a nice pool area, well equipped fitness club, and is idealy located right in the center of Dubai.
The place is fancy and one might say some of the room furniture looks better than being useful - yes, that´s right. But the place is well maintained, and totally up to date. After having seen the Armani hotel, I think you are better off staying in The Address, were you have similar design at half the price, and Burj view on top.
We stayed in a Club room, which is highly recommended. The Club lounge offers food and drinks throughout the day, friendly staff and a fantastic view on the water fountains at night.
For business and a city trip, this is the right place in Dubai.

We stayed 2 nights prior to going to Africa and from the minute you arrive at rececption you are made to feel special. They have Arabian coffee and dates in the foyer for anyone to try. The staff are excellent and the rooms are large very well appointed even a nespresso coffee machine and Ipod doc. The bed and pillows are bliss after a day out in town. The chilled (not cold) pool is in 5 sections and curves around the hotel and overlooks the Dubai Fountain and the worlds tallest building (at present) the view from the pool is amaising and there are lots of areas in and around the garden just to sit and read. Right next to the Dubai Mall, the hotel has a private elevator enterance right accross to the Mall. Breakfast was a feast in itself with food from around the world, we ate outside and enjoyed watching the variety of birds in the gardens. Highly reccommeded for short or long stays.

My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and stayed at the Address for the first five days. We now wish we had booked the full ten day holiday at this Hotel. We were met at the airport arrivals and whisked to a private lounge to await our transfer in a huge Audi saloon. Upon arrival our thoughts were "I wonder who all those hotel staff are waiting for" It was soon answered, it was for us!!! We were shown directly to our Premier Club Room and checked in there and then. We chose a fountain view room that was well worth it. Such a wonderful sight from our balcony, the infinity pool, Burj Khalifa, fountains. The staff in the club lounge were outstanding, one of them, Miel, went out of his way to take me to a secluded tailors where I could buy a good quality but cheap suit for our anniversary meal. He even wanted to pay for the Taxi to take me to it!! In the club lounge there is a complimentary bar from 6pm to 11pm which we took full advantage of, the staff we very attentive and took time, if you wanted to, to interact with you. We felt a bit ignorant cutting them short every half hour to pop out to the balcony to view the Fountain display (awesome) Overall, the Hotel is in a superb location, with first class amenities for both business and social visits. How other reviewers can knock this Hotel is beyond belief. This is our second visit to Dubai, first visit was at the Jumeira Beach Hotel and Burj al Arab (which was an experience but not as pleasant as The Address) We mainly ate in the Club Lounge but did venture out to the Dubai Mall where there are numerous eateries to choose from. We also visited one of the Hotel restaurants (Fazaris) where we had a superb "set meal" , the steak was superb, so much so that when the waiter asked us how the meal was I said "send my compliments to the chef". Five minutes later the chef was at our table thanking us for sending the compliments!! An expensive drink in "Neos" on the 63rd floor is well worth it. We will most certainly use this Hotel again on our next visit. 'Check out' was seamless via the club lounge reception and we were whisked away in our Audi limo to the Atlantis The Palm (big let down after The Address) Please go and most certainly upgrade to Club Class.

From the moment u enter this hotel u feel relaxed and at ease. the location is great. u don't need a car or a taxi, every kind of recreation is just a stroll away. the kids love kidzania, sega republic and the ice rink, all in dubai mall which is just opposite the hotel. i loved the swimming pool!! it's on a high floor and over looks burj khalifa"world's highest building" and the musical dancing fountain.

The Address Hotel was recommended by a friend whose opinion i respect on where to stay. I am a finicky traveller who just hates bad hotels and sloppy staff or even good hotels and a sloppy staff for that matter.

I landed up at the wrong Address Hotel which was connected to the Dubai mall. I was redirected to the Address hotel downtown which was just a five minute drive away.

The check in was excellent. The Thai lady who checked me in was friendly and polite. She escorted me to the room and made sure she explained each and every feature, including the a.c that automatically shut off if one opened the doors to the balcony.

The room was large, very large actually and airy.

The bathroom was huge. With a nice tub and different sections for the shower and the pot.v The soap and the shampoo etc were nice to smell and use and had a nice "spa" feel about them.

There was a great selection of complimentary tea's and even a nespresso machine in the room.

The internet was complimentary

Room service was a standard 20 minutes and the menu was fair with a nice selection of local food.

The check out was smooth and the staff ever smiling.

I did check into a superior room so maybe things were a little better than what they might have been in a standard room but my travel agent got me the room at about 12500/ INR all inclusive so it was not a bad deal at all.

My benchmark for a good comfortable stay was the four seasons hotel, singapore. The address hotel beats it hollow.

On my previous visit to Dubai I had stayed at the Hyatt, the one near the airport, and was happy with the experience but i doubt i will ever go back there again.
