Stayed at this hotel in January 2014 for almost two weeks. Many issues to deal with. Wifi
not working, was offered a smoking floor despite clearly asking for non smoking. Manager
Mr. Manu Madan kept low profile when asked to address the issues at hand. His solution
was to relocate me to another floor which had a broken fridge. The pass cards for the
room had to be replaced four times, with an explanation from the manager "you are not
the only one with this problem". Totally disfunctional management team. Mr. Madan's
assistant was always unavailable to speak with me, yet was seen many times in the
restaurant.

I loved the hotel itself and the room was very comfortable and spacious but the service in this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. While checking in we asked the people at the front desk how long it would take to get to the tennis stadium from the hotel and we were told 25-30 minutes. I thought this answer was a bit strange as I specifically booked it because the map showed it to be near enough to where we were going. This didn't leave us much time to get ready so we rushed and grabbed a taxi, turns out we were 5 minutes away.
Having arrived in the room we immediately called for more towels. These never came and because we were in a hurry we just re-used towels and did not have time to chase these up.
When we arrived back around 1.30am we decided to order room service as we had been told it was 24 hours. Big mistake! The food took well over an hour to arrive and it was clearly frozen food which was not nice at all and definitely should not have taken over an hour to prepare.
Around 4.30am we got a wake up call from the front desk. After telling them that we hadn't ordered one they apologised and we went back to sleep. Half an hour later the phone rang again. I heard talking on the other end and they hung up. Two minutes later another phone call! Again they hung up without actually saying anything. I took the phone off the hook but a few minutes later I heard voices on the other end. It stopped pretty quickly and thank god that was the last of the wake-up calls.
The phone in our room was not connected to the correct extensions. When we tried to call room service (a room service button on the phone) we were rudely told this was not the correct extension and that we needed to call room service. They gave us a number which we dialled and it took us directly back to the same person who then connected us.
On the day of checkout we forgot to put the do not disturb
sign on (assuming housekeeping would not come to the room until after we had checked out). We were woken by a knock on the door at 9.30am by housekeeping!
For such a beautiful hotel I was sorely disappointed and would be in no hurry to stay here again.

The bedroom was large and the Hotel was in a good location. Not only is it fairly close to the airport but is walking distance (two blocks) to a really good shopping mall.

The bedroom is a good size with good furniture. There is a good desk and good seating in the bedroom. The TV had lots of English TV channels and good wi-fi.

I was on the 1st floor and I could hear the traffic on the motorway near the hotel. This didn’t interrupt my sleep.

The only thing that was disappointing was the broken plugs in the bedroom. There were exposed wires on the plug. The shower also needed repairing and there was a stain on the carpet in the corner.

I had breakfast and a dinner which were good value except the sparkling mineral water was expensive. The airport pickup and drop-off happened as promised and the service in the hotel was excellent.
There is also a nice pool on the roof and the gym looked fantastic.

The hotel knew we were arriving at 6am, I had booked the previous night so we could use the room straight away and I emailed them twice beforehand. We arrive and they have taken the previous night out of my Visa, which I told them I wasn't happy about. The room was large, clean and very nice. There was a smell on our floor every time we got off the elevator, which wasn't very nice. Breakfast was really great and varied. We paid for a Club Room and we have been in 3 hotels with Club Rooms, but this Club Lounge was so limited it wasn't worth paying the extra. Terrible luke warm coffee and a very small and very limited snacks on offer. The Hostess was too friendly and every time we would pop in she would try and get us to book tours or the beach, but we told her we had booked everything in Australia, but she kept asking. One night we asked for a taxi and the conceirge said to take a private car and that it would cost the same, on the way back to hotel we took a taxi and it cost us half the money, no happy.
