Excellent Location, Close proximity to good restaurants, sea view from all rooms, From the moment we checked in til the tie we checked out everyone was incredible
In House eating was a little pricey, as with most hotel dining anywhere, the in-house convenience shop was also quite expensive, but was able to sort out a Prepay SIM and get it activated for me. Laundry was also expensive, and little to no other easy-to-find options around the Marina area, all places charge per garment rather than by weight, ended up hand washing most of that we needed and hanging on the deck to dry.
Concierge was outstanding, they assisted very quickly with things I had trouble booking myself, were able to organise and secure me the Rental Car I wanted (Luxury / Sports Car) and offered discounts on other trips / tours.
Beds were amazingly comfortable. Pool was actually cooled which was refreshing, compared to the ocean which was almost too warm to swim in.
I didn't find it til my last day, but across about 100m away towards the cinema is a convenience store on the side of one of the new buildings, prior to this I was walking to the supermarket which was further away.
Just a few negatives, none of which impacted my positive opinion of this hotel, but notable
Pool is actually quite small, and loungers were hard to come by during the afternoon, best swimming is in the evening with the sunset
Fair bit of construction happening at the back of the Hotel with the development of a Tram system, which will really improve public transport to the Marina Area, as the Metro station is about 10-15 mins walk. The double glazing helps most of the noise so not too bad. The beeping of machinery did become a little noisy if you spend a bit of time in your room, my advice is go out for the day!
I worked out they have a little over 400 rooms from floors 5 to 32, and only 4 guest elevators servicing the room levels, a ratio of about 100:1, This meant some times you could wait 4-5 mins for an elevator, particularly annoying when you just needed to pop back to your room from the pool.
For the last 3 nights of our stay we had a couple with a small baby next door, which would begin crying / screaming from about 5am and would wake us, so the rooms are not completely sound-proof, part of the reason may have been because the rooms had in-room door between them (stayed locked) but probably didn't insulate the sound as good as it could have. I didn't make an issue out of this because I don't feel comfortable making an issue out of such things, but it would have been nice if the Hotel had floors or rooms to allocate to young families to minimise noise disruption.
