Go with realistic expectations and you will not be disappointed - just remember this is not a 5# hotel.. Good clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. I stayed in a studio room for 7 days and found it was more than adequately equiped for my needs with washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker hob, microwave, utensils iron, safe and basic satellite channels and free internet which I found reliable for browsing and planning my next days activities. Room was more spacious than I expected for a studio and cleaned daily. Gym looked fine with ample equipment, nice steam room and Sauna, roofside pool looked a bit small but I didn't use it though being able to relax and enjoy sunshine on the roof would have been a good option if time had allowed. No pubs/disco's in the hotel or below so no noise to keep you awake which was a prime factor for choosing this one given the reviews of many others in the area mentioned high noise levels. Like other reviewers state the hotel is not on the correct place on googlemaps etc though in the same general area - tell the taxi driver it is near Diera Clock Tower if you are giving directions (many drivers didn't seem to recognise the name which I think has changed recently). Union Metro station is about 15/20 mins walk from the hotel and you can get the metro here from the airport likewise there are buses from the airport - no. 64 being one - that can drop off/pick up at the bus stop near the clock tower about 3 mins walk from the hotel - can get buses to souks and main bus stations from here also - get a Silver NOL card at the Airport and top up as you go for bus/metro they don't take cash on the buses. I was travelling on my own and found it safe to use public transport then walk to the hotel even late at night - area is well lit. There are a couple of supermarkets for supplies opposite the hotel and plenty of restaurants up near the metro station. The main sites of Dubai are a bit further away but again easy enough to get to using metro/bus or taxi's. You can walk to the wharf and along the creek from the hotel which is entertaining. I recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again - good value for money for those wanting to save their pennies for site seeing/shopping.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Clock tower - open view rather than the other side which is overlo...

First of all, most maps have this hotel at the wrong location. It is actually one block west of the clock tower intersection.

Hotel room was nice, wi-fi was weak and not reliable, water pressure was weak but you definitely had hot water once you turned on the water heater. Car parking by valet was free. Al Rigga metro station is about 7-10 minutes away walking and the Dubai Creek only a few blocks away. Good food to be found nearby as well.

Felt like this might have been overpriced for what I received but would need to stay at other places nearby to verify.

Room Tip: See if you can get a room facing south - this would give a good view of Burj Khalifa in the morning.

I tend not to go 'budget' very often and I had low expectations, but this was a very good option. Cheap rooms, relative comfort, friendly service and a great curry restaurant in the building. I'd mark it as 'excellent' but the fridge in the room kept buzzing, so I had to move and unplug it. Not a chore, but not a mark of quality either. I would stay there again if on a budget. Very close to airport too, which is handy.

I was lucky to have this hotel recommended by a colleague when I had to stay for a longer period of time (almost two months).

First impression was fortunately the worst - and it was no worse than an indifferent seeming receptionist. Could be a matter of cultural differences, but he seemed very indifferent if I was there or not. However he was helpful, so I could check in even with out my passport - that I had turned in for visa-processing. After some calls to management he accepted a copy of my passport wich was all I had.

Imediately after checking in I was offered help with luggage to my room wich I declined since it was late and I had only one suitcase on wheels and a carry-on bag.

First impression of the room was nice. One-bed room appartment with guest bathroom and nice master bed-room with en suite.
All in all very good and functional appartment, with some quirky details;
- Water all over the floor after showering even using the shower curtain hanging IN the bathtub.
- Kitchen with funky and very impractical angles (so some cupboards could not be opened very much and you have to angle the pots to get them out.)
- The kitchen is not really equipped to cook - pots crooked and poor quality, knifes dull and crappy, one cutting board, very few crappy utencils, no posibility to do your own dishes -and when the cleaning staff does it - they use their fingers - no soap and leaves it for drying on the drip tray. All in all the kitchen is not equipped as described in the list of contents (missing forks, spoons, plates and so on) and not practial to use.
- There is a washing machine - but no means of drying your clothes other that the build in dryer - wich takes only half a wash of clothes and super heats it. This could be improved with a simple drying rack.

Cleaning was already mentioned with poor dishwashing posibilities. Otherwise spotless and very service minded cleaning staff. If you turn on the "do not disturb light" they will leave a cosy litlle note, that they were there and you just have to dial 0 to get them to come back. Towel service is very inconsistent - some days you get plenty new fluffy towels other days you get old worn out spotted towles and no bath-mat or hand towel. Funny thing is - it was different on the two different floors (16 and 12) i stayed at in the period - best on 16th floor.

Room-service quick and friendly, good quality of food and good value. Restaurant is famous in the area, and makes a lot of take-away. I ate there several times and was always impressed with the quality -so was the guests I had in the period. Option for continental breakfast - not very impressive. Poor quality of bread, only one big (un-hygenic) bowl strawberry jam and a little cheese. Off course there is the option of ordering an omelette (be sure to pronounse cheese clearly, otherwise you will get chilis ;-) ) and the omelette is perfect. Coffee I won't event mention - it is instant and with luke water mix-your-self.

Gym is so and so, and so is the pool - on the roof in extremely noisy surroundings.

When getting a taxi back to hotel, always ask to be taken to Moscow Hotel - wich is just across the street - because sadly none of the drivers knows the name Xclusive Creek Hotel Appartments.

All in all I would clearly recommend this hotel to anyone. I had a nice stay and got excactly what I expected and sometimes a little more.

Pros: Dinner restaurant, friendliness of cleaning staff, close to airport.
Cons: In appartment kitchen -dishwashing and utilisation, and crappy coffee at breakfast.

Room Tip: Get high floor due to traffic in roundabout below. For plane spotters - get room towards airport...

The hotel is close to airport and that is the only good thing about it. Now for the bad part:

I booked a package for my mother and her 2 friends between 6th to 10th Oct 2013. They stayed in room no 403 and package was booked under make my trip ID: [131005-028133]

A) The hotel was not even 2 star leave alone deluxe category.

B) The room was atrocious

C) The staff rude and totally uncooperative

D) Had to request 10 times to get anything done

E) They were just interested we book taxi and other services through them so that they can pocket commission on that

F) The Hotel is so far from basic amenities that we had to travel far everyday.

G) They need a soft skill training in customer management and I would not recommend a stay in this hotel even if they are offering it for free.

Thanks

Stayed here with a group of friends. A great options with a little kitnette they have, plus the size of the room is also nice.

Nicely done rooms, good range in terms of breakfast and comfy beds...

Overall, recommended. :)

I stayed in this hotel on 21st Sep for 4-5 days. This hotel is around 4-5 kms from Airport and reachable in 10-15 mins. The Taxi would charge anywhere around 30 aed from airport. Most of the taxi drivers know Moscow hotel which is in the same block, so if they don't know about this hotel just say you want to go near Moscow hotel in Diera.
I reached the hotel around 5 pm, however I had to wait for 15 min for checking in as room cleaning was in progress. Hotel staff were helpful.
The hotel is very clean and the room I stayed was also very clean, well designed, bathroom was very clean. It had all the required amenities. Kitchen had everything required for cooking, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc. The room cleaning included dish washing. There was a safe to keep important things safe.
Gym and swimming pool is on 17th floor, the gym has bicycle, elliptical and trade mills along basic weights and machine. Steam bath and sauna facilities are also available. The only problem is that it opens up from 9 am till 9 pm, it should open up earlier.
There are restaurants for breakfast and dinner.
There's near by super market Al Madina at walking distance and a small snack centre. There's also a restaurant adjacent to the hotel at ground floor.
This place not far from Diera City shopping mall. Getting taxi from hotel is very easy as a lot of taxi move around this place, just hail for the taxi.
Diera City centre is also the nearest Metro station, if you want to catch Metro, taxi would charge minimum 10 aed.
Overall the stay was good and pleasant.

Room Tip: Back side room have good view of creeks.
