we stayed in Pullman Mall of Emirates, Dubai hotel in Executive suite. We stayed on 22 Floor and room was awesome with a good view of the Dubai city.

I was really impressed with the room interiors especially the use of lightening to make room feel comfortable.

Staff was very helpful.
We had a Pre-Dinner drink and snacks and it was really good.
Breakfast was also very good.

Since, this hotel is connected with Mall of Emirates, it was very helpful to go to mall at any time.

I will highly recommend people, to stay in Pullman Mall of emirates, its a complete package, easy shopping, good staff, good food, good room, great view and last not the least, an awesome swimming pool on 24th floor to relax and view Dubai city !!!

Room Tip: Try out the executive suite.

Nice hotel which is onnected to the mall and is handy for the direct access to the metro, hotel is well maintained and staff are very good, we had a problem with some not so considerate people in the room opposite ours and on speaking to the staff on reception were given the option to move room to not one but three different rooms on other floors. The roof top pools are great to start and finish off the day and were busy but we were able to get sun beds at each visit. Breakfast was well laid out and stocked with some items cooked to order as per usual. The outside dining / bar area were nice to use in the evening thou' if you like an alcoholic drink it's a bit expensive.
If flying into Dubai DXB their is a duty free style shop once you've got your cases off the carousel in the airport which sells beer, wine and spirits if you're so inclined, which are a lot more reasonably priced.
The penguin petting in Ski Dubai is worth a visit and so is the shopping I'm told, Jeep safaris worth doing but not if you're one for motion sickness!

Room Tip: Higher floors are said to be better, if only for the view

Just returned from spending 5 days at the Pullman Hotel and it was great. I travelled with my husband on business and this was were the seminar was being held. The Pullman is a great location at the Mall of the Emirates. Very convenient for shops, eating, and taking the metro to other sites. We upgraded to a suite on a higher floor and had access to the Executive Lounge on the 22nd flr. Well worth the upgrade. The room was big and with a great layout!! The Executive Lounge offers, breakfast, afternoon tea and alcohol and snacks for dinner for free with the upgrade - it was worth it just for this alone!! The staff is very friendly and responsive to your needs. The rooftop pool area and gym is really nice with amazing views!! Madinet Jumeriah - only a 5 min, taxi ride. The access to the Mall of the Emirates is really nice to have. Just take elevator down for dining and shopping. It is not as overwhelming as the Dubai Mall with very nice shops. I would definately recommend this hotel for your stay in Dubai.

We booked this hotel directly through the hotels own website. We booked and prepaid for 2 adults & one 8 year old child for 2 nights from the 7th October 2012. Confirmation of this was provided and payment accepted. The booking confirmation clearly stated 2 adults and one child. We got a good rate of about $240AUS per night.

You could imagine our suprise when we arrived at our room to find 1 king bed and no bed for our son. I thought this was simply just an oversight and rang reception and advised them that thay ommitted to provide another bed. They said they would call us back. After 25 minutes we received no call back. We then went down to reception to enquire and they advised that the child is only free in existing bedding (not stated on the booking). So I asked if they were saying that my son would have to sleep in the bed with us, they embarrisingly said "yes" or we could pay an additional $50AUS per night to have a rollaway bed brought in. I refused to pay the additonal charge, they refused to waiver their charge. My son slept on the lounge that he just barely fitted on as it was about 11pm and i was downstairs arguing with the staf for about an hour. What an embarressment to this hotel chain.
Our other issue was that they were doing repairs to the tiles or bathroom above our room and were jackhammering and chiseling tiles from 7am on both mornings. I understand that repairs need to be undertaken, but at 7am. What about starting at 10 or 11am???? Totally inconsiderate.
When we checked in, the reception staff were a little like sales people."Would you like to pay for an upgraded room?" "Are you are member of the hotel chain?" "Would you like to purchase internet for your room?"
Appart from these major issues, the hotel itself, pool, amenties, room and all other staff apart from the reception staff/manager were good. There is free WI-FI in the public areas of the hotel.
Would i stay here again, absolutley not. It is a shame as the hotel is nice and all the other staff that we encountered in the hotel were lovely

Dear Voyagerblack,

We thank you for taking your valuable time to post a review on Pullman Mall of the Emirates Dubai, based on your recent stay with us.

We very much regret your experience with regards to the bed situation and the hammering noise. Children sharing parents room are free to stay using the available beddings, otherwise there is a charge for an extra bed, if requested. The marketing team will ensure this is clear during the booking stage.

I use to live in DXB so know the area very well. Last time i stayed in DXB i stayed in The Kempinski, however they have got really expensive now..anyway, Pullman is a great second choice, same location and standard as The Kempinski.
I got a room with a sea view whichwas great waking up to The Burj Al Arab, and the usual sunny mornings.
A very average hotel, breakfast does not offer a vast array but is usual 5 star level...
To be honest i was expecting something more from Pullman...because it is very similar to all the other hotels of this level, but the best advantage it has it the price if you are on a business budget..its the best choice.

Had only a 48 hr stopover in Dubai mainly for shopping and sun&pool lounging- and I choosed the perfect place! Located in one corner of the Malls of Emirates, conveniently reachable by the Dubai Metro (35 min from airport) and 5 min. from metrostation. Was upgraded to spacious comfortable executive floor on 22nd floor, close to SPA and rooftop pool. Small but adequate poolarea with nice sunlounges and two pools accompanied by a great view of Dubai!

Attractive and cool hotel in all aspects, great service! Didn´t try the restaurant though since the mall is just outside but breakfast in lounge was great.

The Sancturay Spa offered great lounge and pedicure!
