We recently stayed at this hotel with our 2 year old and we enjoyed absolutely every moment of it. Because of our early flight and arrival at the hotel, we were given an early check in as well as an upgrade. The staff were amazing and extremely patient with him and the hotel was very accommodating. The only downfall was that for some reason, the rooms are cleaned very late in the day but overall the location is wonderful, the metro is just outside the hotel, the breakfast is yummy and the apartments very spacious. Theres also always taxis outside and numerous fast foods on either side of the bridge. Also by the way, dont ever use the lexus taxis, they are ridiculously expensive and before you know it you being ushered into one, Rather make use of the brown and red ones. Lovely family hotel.

I am staying in this hotel for ten days and I find comfortable, conveniently located and value for money. The rooms are nicely equipped with all the necessary amenities and have a kitchen allowing the preparation of simple meals if one does not want to go out. However, the room service is excellent and offer a variety of menus and dishes served in your room promptly. The cleanliness is appreciated and the service very good and friendly. Very nice and pleasant hotel where to stay.

Room Tip: Top floors have magnificent views

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband and it was the WORST hotel experience I had the reception front desk staff was horrible they had really disgusting attitude, Ahmed was extremely unhelpful and was up him self and not to mention the Reception Manager philipino lady who was supposed to solve our 3 HRS CHECK IN WAIT, was extremely disrespectful and up her self she didnot even have basic customer service skills !!! I dont know how they made her manager she was extremely rude and needed a WAKE UP SLAP
They wanted to charge us for a pepsi and water that we didnt even use and was already missing when we arrived.
I wanted to complain but guess what ?! they have no one you can talk to or complain too since they don't even care about their customer's satisfaction!

Room Tip: suites are horrible deluxe room is under average

Dear Mostafa E,

Thank you for taking the time to post your constructive feedback following your stay.

Our primary aim is guest satisfaction, and it is very disappointing to read such comment from our guests who did not enjoy their stay with us.

Upon receiving your feedback, I immediately conducted an investigation into the event you experienced and necessary corrective action has been taken. However I would like to mention that the front office team checked you in at 3 PM which is the standard check-in time of most of the city hotels in Dubai, we offered you a complimentary upgrade to a premium suite. The day of departure you left the room at 2 PM, which is two hours complimentary checkout. It seems that the receptionist did fail in explaining you the offers and we are very sorry for that.

We truly appreciate any feedback as it is comments from our guests that enable us to improve and refine our services and facilities. Unfortunately, we did not meet your expectation during this time. I would like to reiterate my sincere apology on the shortfall and discomfort you faced during your stay.

Regards,
Tarek Aouini

This hotel was located in a very convenient location. The rooms are a great size and are the comfiest beds i have ever slept in!!

The lift system was annoying - we could be waiting up to 10 mins waiting for a lift....
The pool was smaller than i thought it would be.
The spa was excellent - if i had more days in Dubai, would have definitely had more treatments.
The breakfast had a wide range of foods and had great views.
Overall would definitely return to this hotel.

Dear Reviewer_fmn,

Thank you very much for taking time in reviewing us on TripAdvisor. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you met the renowned service our colleagues are known for.

Concerning the lift system, allow us to explain that it is an advanced system that in the beginning we faced some challenges implementing it. It is faster than the traditional elevators, however now by having an elevator boy assisting the guests we can see a huge improvement, and I am sure you will notice the same on your next visit.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

I have chosen this hotel for the change, only as i come very often to Dubai, But Emirates Grand hotel is the worse hotel i ever stayed, When i came in on arrival in the middle of the night i regretted already, its like 2 to 3 star budget hotel, than next day breakfast a biggest disaster its like a staff canteen and so dirty, on the second day morning a cleaner swept the floor and collected the rubbish and he throw it in the waste food box on the trolly what was mend guest. during the breakfast they came and swept the floor, all the dust flying around over the food.... only thinking about it, appetite already gone. I got a shock when i saw this, I ask for coffee when i finally got it, it was unable to drink it was like tar water, terrible i ask for brewed coffee they said don't have but the machine was behind the counter, the bottom line is they don't want to give. than after some complain they give me Nescafe, A lot of children throwing food around, i wanted to get some fried eggs, other disaster takes you half hour waiting as the people are not trained so slow and messy.
Breakfast in this hotel is bad for your blood pressure. Than the elevator system they have i have never seen in the world, the worse system what is created, it take you hours to get up and down the floors, as you have to press a on screen where you want to go and you have to wait for this particular lift special in morning be prepared to wait hour a day before the lifts provide you go up ones otherwise is even more. really terrible ... than then one evening after a long day working i thought i go for dinner in the hotel, i go to restaurant on the 43 floor complete empty and so cold like a freezer, than i ask for a water and a glass of wine, than they told me sorry sir we don't serve wine and no alcohol in this hotel. this was no where written any where. there goes my dinner, i went out and had no choice to have dinner in other hotel couple of blocks down the road, Italian restaurant, this was great.
As i checked in, in the middle of the night my flight for departure was evening i ask for two hour extra or lets say a later check out, also a disaster the boy behind the reception a trainee i think told me let me check with the manager, the manager who never came out said no, charge him AED 300 extra, i told him i came in the middle of the night and and i am leaving late, can you not be a bit flexible, he sorry we can not latest we can give is till 14.00hr than i told him you want me to sit 7 hours in the lobby. he said you can take a coffee. than i told him i ask only 2 hours also can not, or do you don't want me to come back, he said up to you. then manager let the boy struggling with the situation as he hide behind. really a rude and bad attitude situation. so finally no choice i checked out, the check out process was rude and bad too. nobody greet nobody ask how was you stay ( maybe he knows he will get it than ) nobody wish you a good flight, they not even talk to you .... as said my worse experience in Dubai .... education is really needed here ..... NEVER AGAIN

Room Tip: My advise is ..... Book next door,

Rude and unhelpful staff, poor customer service.
The bed was clean, but overall hotel looked in need of a good scrub. Kitchenette supplies (kettle and cups) looked really dirty.
Only plus was one very chatty and helpful concierge staff.
Good location.

Room Tip: If you are a non smoker, make sure to request a suitable room upfront. Very limited non smoking room...
