Can't speak highly enough of this hotel after visiting Dubai many times over the the last 10-12yrs I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. We arrived early, our room was ready & we were checked in quickly. The pool on the 8th floor is 30metres but because of the buildings position it means you do have to follow the sun as it moves throughout the day (but this is no big deal). The waiter service was really good at the pool. The shuttle to the Oceana Beach Club runs regularly & takes no longer than 10-15mins. Anyone who knows Dubai will know this is not a long time, in some bigger hotels it can take that long to get from your room to the on-site beach. The facility is great, big infinity pool, amazing views of Jumeirah & lovely beach. The only day it was really busy was Friday which I would expect as everywhere is busy on Friday in Dubai. The all inclusive package was well worth the cost, it includes 200aed per day at the beach club which was ample amount for lunch & several a drinks both soft & alcoholic. The food selection & standard was great. Again waiter service at the pool & beach was good. The food at the hotel is excellent the buffet for breakfast/lunch/dinner & al a carte restaurants were all superb. We went the italian twice as it was so good. Service in the restaurants was excellent. A.I beverages were great & there was a good selection of alcoholic drinks. The mall (literally over the road) isn't as big as some of the other malls but convenient for supermarket/chemist/fast food. There's a metro station about 4mins walk which is also really convenient & a great service (we tried it for the 1st time to visit Emirates mall). Overall everything about this hotel is excellent - cleanliness, food, service, rooms, staff the lot. Don't be put off by it not being on the beach & really isn't that much further than the hotels at the bottom end of Jumeirah beach/walk. We will definitely be back!
