After arriving at the hotel around Midnight I have done the check in for them and they got the room what they booked, at least that is what they thought. Instead getting the Atlantis view room they got a room facing Dubai Marina because in the assigned room the blinds fell down. All in all they have been very happy with their Deluxe King room and especially with the breakfast buffet because they booked half bored. All the problems started for them at dinner whereby the staff in the hotel had no clue about what someone can drink or not. Reception staff have been helpful but sometimes had no idea as well when you have asked them a question. I don't really blame the staff because they only do their job as well. I blame the hotel management and the Jumeirah management because basically Jumeirah is a Hotel group from Dubai and not a Western one and you could see that they have been treating local arabs much better as western paying tourists. I for sure will and would never recommend the hotel where they think they are 5 star service in a so to say 5 star hotel (which it is actually not). Dubai has the real deal 5 star hotels where everyone is being treated with respect.
