I stayed 2 nights in the Hotel. Room was spacious although a bit Dark for my taste. bathroom had a separate tub and shower which was excellent and quite spacious. i asked for some housekeeping and room service and in both cases I was served quickly and very politely. the staff were quite pleasant and Helpful. if you like Oriental food this is the hotel to stay at. Breakfast was a variety of Korean as well as continental so thumbs up on the breakfast.
Location was near Reef shopping Mall and not so far from Al-Ghurair shopping Mall so access to shopping was quite satisfactory for me.

We stayed for one night celebrating the birthday of my wife, and were delighted to find a lovely birthday cake in our room.
Rooms are quite modern,clean,spacious wel-appointed.
Staff were friendly and helpful, with good service.
There is a rooftop pool, which is nice, and has sun beds ,and a good gym
The entertainment in Boracay was superb!
What let's this hotel down is the entrance,on a side street, into a very unimpressive reception are, which is rather small for such a busy hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the entertainment

Very modern interior design Japanese style very hih standard, rooms are good size, very comfortable, make sure you are in the front part , as in the back part you can hear constant noise from planes taking off , the front part has better views and much quieter, beds and pillows are very comfortable, with large bathroom and shower, breakfast is great, with European buffet , also an oriental one, with every ingredients you can think of to eat, the reception is small and not much space to sit with no bar, also the pool is small and boring, with no views at the roof top, great pity, but this was the only negative point, many oriental restaurants to choose from but on the expensive side...you get free WiFi at the business centre, very near the metro and a short walk to a shopping mall and street cafe / snack bars of Deira

Room Tip: the back rooms are plane noisy and no views choose the front part better view and quieter.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on our way back to UK from the Maldives and this is a strange hotel.
Good points:
Location near to the Metro line. This essential for getting around Dubai quickly to places like the marina, the 2 main shopping malls and the ski slope. While taxis are inexpensive, the traffic levels mean it can often be a slow journey.
The decor is a very high standard.
Our deluxe room was large, well furnished and with very hi-tec lighting/controls.
Other points:
There is no bar as I would know it. Sure there is a Japanese bar and a bar by the pool on the roof (which always seemed shut and had no view) but nowhere we could relax in the evening. The hotel does have other "entertainment/karaoke/cabaret rooms", accessed from a different street entrance and lift and these tended to cater for the Japanese and Korean buisnessman, giving the hotel a shady feel.
We ate one night in the restaurant. It was expensive and no one else was dining.
Breakfast was ok. Just ok.
The Diera district is shabby but like all of Dubai is perfectly safe.
Not a hotel I would stay in again.

Asiana Hotel is a fantastic looking hotel. Very modern and chic. But it's not exactly in the 5-star hotel range. Aside from being very modern and having some nice restaurants in there, it's your typical 3 star hotel in terms of amenities. Still, it is a great place to stay at a great price.

Lobby isn't as big as it seems in pictures. Pool is relatively tiny. Breakfast buffet is limited. Most of the travelers there are Asian businessmen. But other than that, it's great. It's clean. The people are courteous and polite. The rooms are modern. The room we had had a bit of a weird set up where the bathroom had a translucent wall facing the bedroom.

It's very near the airport. Only about 10 to 15 minutes away depending on traffic. It's located in Old Dubai, which isn't a bad thing because it makes you feel like you're in Dubai, not just a large Western city. It's a 3 minute walk to the Metro and a mall with a 24 hour supermarket.

At the price its offered at, Asiana is hard to beat in Dubai!

Room Tip: Ask for something not near the Boracay Club.

I stayed here in November 2013 and I feel the need to express my gratitude to ALL staff. Each and everyone made my stay stress free, comfortable, and most of all enjoyable. This hotel is well maintained and offers exceptional customer service...a definite Must try.
It is also quite unique in the sense that you feel the taste and smell of East Asia in every corner and corridor in the hotel. Boracay ia a nice spot to spend the evenings and Lamisa is a wonderful restaurant.
