Description: Table 9 is a unique concept restaurant in Dubai that has become a platform for talented chefs to create their own bespoke dining experience. Located in the Hilton Dubai Creek, table 9 has earned a reputation for high-quality, original menus and a personalized dining experience. The latest evolution introduces a brand new bistro-styled concept that guarantees a flavorsome indulgence. The range of starters is designed to encourage sharing and includes luscious options such as the Homesmoked Table 9 Salmon, organic quinoa & burrata salad or the infamous Steak Tartar that naturally leads to the main courses like the palate-pleasing Veal Tenderloin with smoked pumpkin puree & gremolata or the generous US Angus Prime Rib Eye with the homemade triple-cooked chips and béarnaise. When the culinary climax is reached the signature desserts like the Poached Grapes Panna Cotta or the Table 9 Rhubarb & Custard classic are sure to leave you intrigued for new adventures. This modern version of a casual-chic bistro welcomes you to an extraordinary experience whether it is a casual dinner with family and friends, a special occasion or a famous Dubai Brunch. Started in 2011 by Gordon Ramsay's protégés, Nick Alvis & Scott Price and later under the reign of Darren Velvick the restaurant has won several public and industry awards for its innovative approach to modern European cuisine.

“Food is still great”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

This is our first visit since it changed to Table 9 having been a few times when it was Verre. We choose the sample menu with the wine pairing. The meal was a 6 course with different wines with each, a really good way to enjoy favours of both that worked on all but one. However I'm not complaining. The staff were always on hand explaining each course and the pairing wine and happy to try something else if they picked up on your likes. I will be going back as it is well worth it and the food is still as good.

“great food, great service, great sommelier”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

We have been to Table 9 a couple of times now and have never been disappointed with the food, service or drinks. It is a bit pricey but we think it's worth every dirham spent.
We always go for the full menu with the pairing wines which save us a lot of time and money (?).
The sommelier is very knowledgeable and always has interesting stories to tell about the wines, where it comes from and why it goes so well with the dish (as any good sommelier would do you'll tell me!). the food just keeps coming and each course is worthy of any Michelin star restaurant.

the staff is very friendly and know what they are talking about. They are also quite discreet and are not in your face all the time which is good.

At the end of the meal you are brought the candy trolley from which you can choose a selection of sweets - very original!

Now the best part of the evening is when you are taken to the kitchen to meet either Nick or Scott (we met both during different visits) but i think it is only when you book the full menu (?) - not so sure about that.

We love the place and go there every time we have friends visiting.

“Excellent experience”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Went for for a dinner with friends and found the place unexpectedly busy for an evening during the week in Ramadan. Now I know why! Had the 3 course menu: goat cheese on pineapple, lamb with sprouts and carrot cake. All dishes were of excellent quality. Very tasty, flavorful and greatly presented. Impeccable service staff and the head chef himself isnt too shy to pass by and check on the guests. Same time there is a big screen in the restaurant where you can "spy" on his work. The entire evening was a great experience and worth to return. Especially when looking at the reasonably price of 225 for a high quality 3 course menu.

“Good and central”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Close to the creek and is famous for its contemporary feel. The waiters can be of to high an opinion of the dishes to recommend. Take your time and choose your own favourites. Well served and god taste. The wines are a little expensive but good. Difficult to catch a taxi on leaving so ask the reception to pre- book.

“A different brunch”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

After reading some raving reviews we were a little disappointed with the Friday brunch.
The food didn't quite live up to our expectations although the concept is quite interesting (breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea in one). The food was a little too heavy and too rich and not properly balanced to suit the hot weather at that time of the year. The desert (afternoon tea to share) was a random selection, not all of which we would have had if we'd had a choice.
I just remember being quite disappointed by it all.
Service could have been better too- we were not given the choice to order mains side dishes and instead were told it'll be alright when we tried. So we were served some of the side dishes, not all which we would have liked to order. Also had to wait for our table to be cleared and water and drinks to be served throughout the meal.
Overall not good value for money by Dubai standards.
In retrospect we were quite pleased that we cancelled a dinner reservation here a couple of days before. The restaurant also notified us that it was closing that night because it was a dry evening due to a muslin festival/ holiday (better customer service that time).
On the other hand, the restaurant is nice with a light, clean and modern decor. It was buzzing full of customers.
We did enjoy ourselves still, and the food, nonetheless.
