We arrived late in Dubai and had a 7 series collect us from the airport. I had mentioned to the hotel that we were on our honeymoon and we were treated to some extra's.
I had booked a club room which was enormous in size with a beach facing balcony view. The view was magnificent.
Everything was splendidly well presented and staff were fantastically polite and courteous. The location was brilliant being on "The Walk" with a huge range of food choices. The evenings were splendidly spent there.
The pool and beach services were excellent as expected.
The only downside was the cost of wifi. Having booked a club room, wifi should have been free. It's cost 50dhms for 1 hr (£5).
In all, a fantastic hotel and holiday!

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Dubai (on the beach, not the financial center) in April 2012. We stayed for 8 nights with our 2 children (ages 12 and 15). The service at the hotel is very good and the location is excellent - on the beach and near many restaurants. The hotel is getting a bit dated and could use an uplift in some of the rooms. We stayed on upper floor with access to the club level. The club was nice but not quite to the standard I have experienced at other Ritz Carlton's. Overall, a nice place to stay with good service but would not pay top dollar to do so.

The Ritz Carlton far exceeded all our expectations - the level of service is outstanding and the staff really cannot do enough for you. The room was fabulous and several times a day water & small treats & fruit are brought to your room. The pool area was lovely & there too the staff were attentive & helpful. We upgraded to the Club Level & it was worth every penny - great food & drinks practically all day & special meals available for kids at no extra charge. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 12 and 10 & they absolutely loved this place. The hotel is right near the JBR walk with loads of shops and restaurants but taxis are so cheap you can easily get anyway.

My other big recommendation is to buy The Entertainer book containing 2 for 1 vouchers - I ordered online before we went and asked for it to be delivered to the hotel & sure enough it was there when we arrived. The cost of the book was 315 AED( £56) but even after paying for the book we saved another £260 on top. There are so many vouchers in there for the water parks & desert safaris etc & hundreds of restaurants too - it is well worth the money!

We really did have a wonderful time in Dubai and a lot of that was down to this fabulous hotel - we will definitely go back to Dubai and would only ever consider the Ritz-Carlton now!

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a week with our 2 yr old and 4 yr old. The hotel was perfect for young families, the staff loved the kids and were always so helpful and friendly to them. The facilities were great too, the pool was perfect for little ones, there was food on the menus for kids too. The kids club came in handy too to get out if the heat in the middle of the day. Our room was great, we had one of the rooms with a solid, high balcony so I always felt safe that the kids weren't going to fall or throw anything. The location is fine, plenty of cheap restaurants around and a Waitrose not far away if you need to pick up milk etc. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff for making our holiday great.

The Ritz Cartlon name is synonymous is luxury and service. The Ritz Carlton Jumeirah Beach did not disappoint in any way.

The concierge was great and organised various excursions and bookings for us with no fuss whatsoever, including several email requests we'd sent in advance.

The hotel is in a great location on arguably the best stretch of beach in Dubai, with gorgeous white sand and blue sea. The marina area has numerous nice restaurants, great shopping in the area and a number of great bars (all in hotels, obviously).

The rooms were very good, one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept on and a great shower.

You are in Dubai, so there is work going on around (try finding somewhere in Dubai where no work is going on!) but despite what is said below, not once did we hear any of the construction work. You simply would not even know.

The pool is lovely and landscaped, although there are not enough sun loungers around it, and most had nobody using them but were "saved" by people.

As for breakfast. Amazing. Not only the food but also the staff. They could not have been more helpful!

Overall, we considered this to be an amazing hotel.

Room Tip: Even the "cheap" rooms are amazing

Had a great view!! When I said it was my partners birthday he got two birthday cakes and free glass of bubbly by the pool. Didn't even notice the building going on at all !!! Firstly lets start with the location could not be better. It is right at the start of JBR which has all the eateries you could wish for no matter what your preference is.

The hotel itself is subtle and not as boisterous as most of the larger hotels in Dubai. The reception and lobby area are welcoming and has a warm intimate feeling to it. The staff are what makes this hotel as great as it is. They make you feel welcome from the second arrive to the second you leave.

The rooms and bathroom are a very good size and the balconies overlooking the pool area / beach are also very good size. The resort itself is very well spread out and you are not tripping over other guests for a seat at breakfast or people vying for a spot near the pool.

The buffet breakfast is very well stocked and has a variety of dishes to cater for all tastes. I highly recommend sitting on the terrace as it is very nice and does make a nice change from sitting indoors in the restaurant seating.

The swimming pool is very large and has a childrens pool with a small waterslide which is very popular with the kids.
