The fantastic view of the burj on one side and the palm on the other while you dine on the beach shore will take your breath away and just when you think this cant get any better you will be served scrumptous mouth watering delights by friendly waiters.
The food is very delicious and the presentation is amazing.
Highly recomemded for couples planning a romantic date under the stars with a magnificent view.

Mina A' Salam at Madinat Jumeirah resort.
Just returned after 4 nights at this superb hotel. We have stayed here before about 8 years ago (it hadn't long opened) and it's even better now. Then they were building the waterways that link the Mina A Salam with the Al Qasr it's all finished now and it's a fantastic resort. This hotel is sometimes referred to as a boutique hotel but don't be fooled it's quite large and has an excellent bar and restaurants. As part of the Jumeirah resort you can just hop on one of the small boats or a golf buggy to visit one of the many restaurants or bars around the resort or at one of the other Jumeirah hotels. The Souk has loads of bars, restaurants and shops. The whole area is totally safe, very clean and buzzing. You can charge most of the restaurants to your room but not some in the Souk so you need to bring some cash or cards. The beach at this resort is fantastic, great for family's, a gentle slope into the sea, hardly any waves and nice and warm. We had a deal and stayed in a room overlooking the building works, (they are building another Jumeirah hotel right next door), the noise wasn't too bad, but be warned work has only just started. Personally I wouldn't take a deal in one of these rooms for the next year or so as the work will get more noisy and intense (in Dubai the builders tend to work 24 hours a day) so consider this when you book. This work only affects the one outside wing of the Mina A Salam all the other rooms are unaffected, so don't be put off just ensure your room isn't overlooking the building work.
The staff are excellent throughout this resort everyone is really friendly, polite and will try to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The food and drink is expensive, particularly the drink, but everything is first class total luxury so you have to expect to pay. We went to the Burj Khalifa for a visit to the At the Top, it was unbelievable and well worth a visit. But book your slot before you travel as places are limited and hard to get on the day, it would be a shame to miss it. The tower is built within part of a massive shopping mall, with all types of shops and restaurants and all the leading designer names. You could easily spend a full day shopping, eating, watching the fountain display and the tower I would recommend it.
This is definitely one of the best hotels we have been to and the level of service puts other 5 star hotels we have even to in the shade.
I would recommend the Jumeirah resort, but particularly the Mina A Salam, unlike some hotels in Dubai and even this resort it had a more cosmopolitan feel with a good mix of guests from Europe.
We never had a bad meal, we ate at MJs Steakhouse, which was great, Trader Vic's at the Souk, Al Hambra and zheng-hes the Chinese, all were brilliant, I would recommend them all. My only regret is we were only there for 4 nights. If you get the chance go!

Pros
Nice place to spend a few days. The boat ride around the resort is brilliant, fully equipped gym with a low oxygen room, restaurants are good (try fish and chips at the wharf), turn down service is special (have to experience it for yourself), I can go on.

Cons
Expensive for the value you get. Then again, Dubai is an expensive place.

Would return again...

Dear Guest,

I would like to thank you for your review of our hotel. Your comments about your experience with our abra service is a great testament to our dedication to connect with the local Emirati culture. Indeed, being the only Resort to offer this authentic Arabian experience makes us very proud. I am also very pleased you have tried yet another unique offering. Our high altitude chamber at the Talise Fitness is very popular amongst our fitness enthusiasts as it takes work-out to another level.

Thank you for your feedback about the fish and chips at The Wharf. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that as of early this month The Wharf has been closed to make way to an exciting new restaurant in its place. We are now on the final stages of this change anticipate to introduce this new food and beverage offering to all our guests in December. We hope you get the opportunity to try this new and exciting development. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Gisele Clark

Booked for a brunch at MIna with a 7 year old who is small for her size - was informed that there was a single price for "kids" between 6 and 20 years!!!! How does that work???? Left feeling very ripped off and spoiled a potentially good experience.

We have just returned from 4 nights at the Mina A Salam after staying 4 days in Abu Dhabi.

We have stayed in many hotels in Dubai over the last 10 years and I was looking forward to returning to the Madinat Jumeirah after a previous stay some 4 or 5 years ago at the Al Qasr. On this occasion we travelled with our 15 year old daughter.

My observations would be:

The level of service in the Club Executive lounge was very professional, helpful and friendly; the issue with sleep quality on one of the nights was dealt with apologetically and to my satisfaction. The gym is extraordinary - loads of equipment, great classes and facilities.

However, the resort as a whole was very busy. I think senior management should be conscious that, in my opinion, this is to the detriment of the Arabic 'feel' of the place. It is particularly bad in the evenings when it gets extremely busy in the restaurant area of the souk and it is much harder to get an abra. There were no spa appointments available except at 8pm at night.
We also used the Wild Wadi waterpark one day and it was far too full; I would have been very annoyed if I'd had to pay to get in.

I was slightly disappointed with the size of our bedroom and the temperature of the shower was intermittent on some evenings. Housekeeping and turn-down service was excellent. But we spend so little time in the room, this really wasn't a major problem.

Overall, we had a good time but I do worry about how large the Madinat is becoming and whether the facilities can keep up and the resort can retain the wonderful Arabic feel I experienced a number of years ago (and in the Club lounge on this occasion). There are plenty of less costly options in Dubai and if I'm honest I think the All Inclusive package at the Palm Tree Court offers better value for money.

consider the madinat jumeirah as a best stop for the beach experience in dxb area. one of the few good hotels with normal clean beach.
also a lot of youth and nice russian people.
the design of the hotel itself is very nice, not as nice as al qasr, but still very authentic and beautiful
