“Excellent hotel for business travel in Dubai”
Reviewed 26 February 2011

The hotel is well positioned in Dubai, realtively close to Sheik Zayed road, the city center, Deira city, a couple of golf courses.
The service is very good (with the exception of the restaurant in my experience), some of the rooms have a fantastic view on the creek. We were upgraded to a Suite whigh was amazing. The executive lounge provide good service and free internet. A good refreshing place if you go to Dubai for business (but it can work also for family travel).

Have just come back from a 7 night stay - we booked an Executive room as we know how much alcohol is in Dubai and the 2 hours open bar is excellent value (it only cost us £19 a night to upgrade and it costs £9.50 for a glass of wine normally - not that we are alcoholics LOL).

We emailed the hotel and they came to collect us at the Airport, as the courtesy pick up was included in the package we booked. Check in was very smooth, however as our flight got us into Dubia for 6am we had to wait for 1 hour before a room was available but we were allowed to use the Executive Lounge facilities, including having breakfast even though we should not have got our room to 2pm.

The room was large and very comfortable with excellent views over the Creek (room 1108). The service in the Executive Lounge was very good and service was always with a smile. The range of food available at breakfast was good, although the only hot food was scrambled eggs, hash browns and boiled eggs. Between 3pm and 6pm afternoon tea was available consisting of a range of sandwiches and cakes. At 6pm a range of canapes was brought out including hot and cold food, plus the open bar up until 8pm.

The roof top pool provides excellent views over the Creek and the Pool attendant was always on hand to organise drinks and food for you when we needed it.

We did not eat at the Verre Restaurant as to my mind it is over priced, however we had a really enjoyable meal in the Glass House - and the food is prepared by the same chef's that work in the Verre Restaurant.

The hotel has several offers for food and drink as follows:
- Glass House on Monday and Wednesdays selected drinks are just 1 AED
- Pool bar - happy hour between 6pm and 8pm
- Issimo bar - range of drinks for 25 AED between 8pm and 10pm

Made use of the free transfer to the Hilton Jumeirah Beach - they take you down at 11am and pick you back up at 4pm.

Overall this is an excellent hotel and we would strongly recommend it.

What a hotel!! We checked in at 10a.m. and checked out at 2p.m. with no problems at all. Beautiful room with a much beautiful bathroom and shower. They gave us the top floor room with a huge balcony overlooking the creek. Breakfast is very nice and the executive lounge has an open bar from 6p.m. to 8p.m. along some Canapés. The only negative part was that there are only 2 elevators. For the rest, It's magnificient. In the executive lounge, there is a terminal (only 1) with free internet. Nice pool with a very nice view and at 11a.m. there is a free shuttle bus to take you to the beach at hilton jumeriah hotel.

We chose this hotel based off of the positive reviews and were not let down. We splurged one night for the executive plus(not 100% of title) that ensures good views and access to the business lounge for happy hour between 6 to 8. Well worth it on both fronts. The view is amazing (ceiling to floor windows of the best view of the Creek and high rises) and the happy hour was nice after a day of touring. The staff was very professional and friendly. Plus, good location to tour the souq's, Dubai Museum, etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

Well positioned close to the airport, so great for a stopover, but still easy to reach the attractions. Good breakfasts, nice staff and excellently laid out rooms. Nice small rooftop pool. Not a lot of atmosphere and probably not the best place to spend a week, but perfect for a few days.

The Hilton Dubai Creek is locatd directly at the creek and close to the gold and spice souk. Both are in walking distance through the old part of dubai.
The hotel is very modern styled and the room looked newly renovated. The bed was perfect to sleep and the view was incredible, as the windows are covering one whole wall. The hotel has it's own swimming pool on the roof, but there is also a shuttle available to the Hilton hotel at Jumeirah beach which is located directly at the beach.
For business traveller, the creek hotel is more convenient as it is located closer to the city with many banks, trading companies etc.
The service is very good and helpful.
I enjoyed my stay.
