I have been to this same resort 4 times!!!
The only flaw I can ever say is that once you have been to Dubai nowhere else will ever match up to it - so please take my advice if there is anywhere else you really want to see please go there first as you never really appreciate anywhere else after stepping foot through the revolving airport doors into UAE.
For me personally this hotel holds a special place in my heart. The very first time I had ever been to Dubai this was the only hotel on Jumeriah beach, it was surrounding by a mass of desert land. Each and every time I return there is always something new and beautiful to add to the backdrop and surrounding scenery. It adds to the excitement to go back and see the changes.
From day one this hotel has treated us like royalty. The staff go out of their way to help us, the boys by the pool are always at hand - each morning they would greet us and find us a nice place to lie, they would move around the umbrellas and deck chairs to accommodate for all the family. One thing I particularly like is that they keep an eye on the beds, one thing we all have experienced is the 6am risers who run down to the pool to reserve almost every lounger, well thankfully the staff here...I have been to this same resort 4 times!!!

I highly recommend having lunch from the wave breakers bar, rule of thumb, generally because of the heat we eat less so we tend to share what would be a one person meal between 2. Love the fish and chips and their chicken dippers - even the way they come out in little wire stands adds to the holiday experience.
Breakfast is a must!! There is so much to choose from but my ultimate favourites are the pancakes, waffles and french toast - especially the french toast, for some reason I can never make it as good. Its very organised and family orientated and the staff really know how to put you in a good mood to start the day.
One thing to note is look for when Ramadan is before booking your holiday. One of our visits was during this time (the last 2 days of our stay) and it did make it slightly difficult because restaurants outside of the resort especially along the strip only open at certain times - which can be difficult when you have younger children with you - you are generally okay within the hotel although you have to bear in mind when eating and drinking around the pool just in case there is someone who is fasting etc.
