“The Best in the World”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

Just spent 4 days for our 10th Anniversary in the most luxurious hotel in the world. Met at the Aeroplane door for the premium Ahlan service, taken to a lounge for a drink while our bags were collected , escorted through passport control into our white Rolls Royce where our driver was waiting with a bouquet of roses for my wife. 9am arrival , early check in granted and our butler Jafer (the king of butlers)ran the Jacuzzi for us. Champagne and Anniversay cake delivered compliments of the team ( nice touch) . This couldn't have gotten off to a better start. Champagne afternoon tea and cocktails in the Skyview Bar (7 courses) .worth every penny. Went to Amal for dinner @ the Armani Hotel great Indian food, had Friday Champagne Brunch @ Nobu in the Atlantis phenomenal (Saffron Atlantis ) is a Brunch Rabble and try to palm you off with Jacobs Creek as champagne. ( walked out) Now 4:30pm and at N'Dulge day club , full on disco party, DJ and Shisha. Used the Burj S Class Mercedes to chauffeur us around. ( Good Value) though taxis are cheap. Saturday Spa , my wife had a La Prairie Gold Facial and Swedish Massage and said it was the best experience she has ever had in a Spa ( special thanks to Lauren) Lunch in the Burj beach bar (prawn tapas) sensational and breakfast in the Pool Bar cafe each morning was of the highest calibre ever experienced in a hotel, you have to see it to believe it.
Trust me when I say this, any negative reviews about this hotel are from people who grudge spending money on the best things in life or who don't get allowed past the strict security. If you can afford a few days and it's a special occasion do it ,there is nowhere better and believe me I'm in the industry an nowhere else touches this for luxury and quality service. Many thanks to all our Butlers during our stay , our Chauffeur drivers and Spa girls for looking after us and making our stay extra memorable. Wouldn't and couldn't now stay anywhere else in Dubai.
Adrian & Elaine Sharpe.

“What a fantastic place to have afternoon tea!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

We were invited to tea at this famous hotel in the sea, and what a stunning venue this hotel is! The service was first rate, superbly comfortable with truly magnificent surroundings. Clearly, we will need to save up to stay here, but it must be done!

“THE iconic landmark that put Dubai on the map”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

For some people the Burj Al Arab is an ultra-expensive and unnecessary building. A hotel on a man-made island just off the coast.
But it is so much more than that. It is an exercise in marketing (it put Dubai on the map) and declaration-of-intent from a small city with a smaller population that desired to be global. If I remember correctly, it was the 15th tallest building in the world when it was completed. And now, every time Dubai is mentioned, it is the Burj Al Arab that springs instantly to mind.

As an added note, behind the special-canvas covered facade lies an atrium deep enough to swallow the Statue of Liberty with its pedestal.

This review is not of a hotel. It is of a landmark. And a statement of intent of a city that wants to be number 1.

“Afternoon tea”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Went there for to tried their afternoon tea and was not dissapointed.

From the moment you enter the hotel ground everything was mesmerizing. No wonder it called a 7 star hotel.
The lobby was great and everything is in gold.

Went up for their aft tea and the cake was great.
