I stayed here with my family from Jan 7th to Jan 16 th 2014 this was great hotel. We stayed at one bedroom apartment. The living room area was huge. The staff were great they quickly provided a crib for baby. However for my six year old there was charge of 170 dirhams for extra bed, so I had him sleep on the sofa which was huge. If the hotel had pullout sofa beds it would have been so much easier for them and so much more affordable for the guest. They have great kitchenettes so convenient with fridge, washing machine, microwave. Loved it, everything was perfect however hotel seemed so new but there was so many things that seemed like it was coming apart. The racks in showers, the tiles on the floor. The paint. Everything was great from my point of view but the hotel needs a little attention with these small things to keep it perfect. The hotel provides a shuttle to two malls the emirate mall and the Dubai mall which is great since the hotel is far from town. Just getting out of the hotel by taxi the circle road literally around the hotel it costs about 20 dirhams before you are on main road going anywhere. So if the hotel provided more than one time shuttle like early bird morning and one around 12-1pm it would safe so much money. The close things to hotel is outlet mall it's great to find some designer bargains if you find something your size. Another is global village which is so nice for family or even couples, so close and nice. Overall very nice.

We booked a 2-bed apartment here for the New Year 6 months prior. We knew that accommodation in Dubai at that time of year can be pricey. We understood it was a fair distance out of Dubai but we know the area well and always rent a car. I would say this is A MUST if you stay here.a
We were really very pleasantly surprised by the good quality of our apartment and the facilities. Our accommodation looked branded new and was HUGE. We had views of the Burg Khalifa (where we spent New Year's Eve - more of that later!) and our two grown up daughters used the gym, pool and sauna without a hitch.
We didn't partake of breakfast nor the 'gala' New Year's Eve dinner.
We initially had problems finding the apartment block in Dubailand but once we had done so - and entered co-ordinates into our GPS we were fine.
The apartment block in on the Al Ain road - fans of the Dubai 7's may find that useful and we had NO PROBLEMS getting into and out of Dubai. In fact, after the fireworks on NYEeve, we could have been home within 30 minutes! Some feat indeed, had it not been for an accident that blocked the Al Ain Road for a short while.
I would use this place again, the staff were pleasant and helpful but, above all, the apartments were even better than we anticipated.
WiFi in the room would have been gratefully received but the service in the lobby and on floor 16 (the pool area) was stable and usable.

Room Tip: You may want a room facing east - facing Dubai.

Stayed for a few days during our 1st visit to Dubai after reading some misleading reviews. Our 2 bedrooms apartment was decently clean buy without whatever 'freebies' that was mentioned in other traveller's review. No bottle water, no toiletries, items stated in the lists that should hv bn there but wasn't there etc. No welcome greeting from their front line staff especially the male manager. He should be sent for proper customer training as in to treat all nationality equal! Location was a hard to find for most taxi drivers. Taxi driver even apologised to us that he rather not take us as he seriously don't know where this hotel/apartment is! The quiet streets to walk before reaching the nearest mall/metro is definitely not an ideal plc for family with smaller kids or ladies. To be fair, their staff from Philippines and Nepalese concierge were very warmth and helpful. Overall we did had a pleasant stay. But will I recommend to friends? Well, my only advise is please read more reviews.

I read several reviews about the hotel before making the booking, but what i was apprehensive about was the level of customer services delivery and expectation will be but I was totally pleased with the overall service I received when at the Abidos Hotel Apartment Dubailand.
The level of hospitality was second to none and I can vouch that this is the best for a long time. From arrival till the departure, the staff were so courteous and readily available to offer a helping hand. At first there was no microwave in the kitchen and the moment it was requested, a new one was sent immediately to us. The apartment was always clean and tidy upon request as we have a lie in till was after room service round. The swimming pool, sauna and gym was appropriate for the hotel and available for use too.
There is free internet in the hotel (Wired in apartment, WiFi in lobby and swimming pool area) hence the lobby is sometimes crowded at nights but irrespective the environment is still made welcoming and it was no longer a problem once we got our phone line working.
The hotel offered us the complementary ride from and to the airport and there was shuttle services twice daily to the Dubai mall and Emirate mall.
