(38720322) let me please start w a single solitary negative. the room is dark; laughably, hideously and dangerously dark. it does irk me. i have mentioned it. i can see no reason whatsoever for such a poor choice of lighting. they certainly spent a small fortune on the interior - but the beauty is lost.
now....i rate my meals here as fine to stellar.
i had three starters; scallops, giant prawn and soft shell crab. superbly executed. the prawns (two of them) were filled with a corriander stuffing. the crab was centred on the dish with several mini lump white crab meat & salsa salads situated around the perimetre. the crab was paired with a mango chutney. excellent. i asked for sag gosht as a main (not on the menu but i always ask for this dish wherever i go). they not only did it justice, but is truly a top 5 in my life.
this is fine dining. and will not disappoint.
the only way i was able to photograph my food was with a torch they use to help read the menu with !!!!!!!!! my menu would have been impossible to read w/out the torch. amazing and silly.
i cannot accept dining and not knowing what my food looks like. this is a basic human right !!!!
