Nomad restaurant does not reflect the experience of Jumeirah Creek Hotel. The variety of food is below average. As for the case of al la carte, food was not up to the standard. One can manage for some basic food during his stay.

“Above average hotel fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

i had breakfast and a lunch here and both were fine and what would be expected from Jumeirah. Breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and plenty of choise however some of the hot items needed to be replinished more often. lunch menu is large and obvioulsy designed to cover most bases from Asian to burgers. Quality good but overall a little unadventerous.

“Pleasant Surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014

After having had a very pleasant evening at the Irish Village it was a short walk to the Nomad. From the hustle and bustle we came into a quieter atmosphere, sitting outside the four of us had the following- shrimp popcorn with dynamite sauce and wasaabi aioli and spicy tuna Maki Sushi with ginger and wasaabi for starters, lovely and light and tasty. For the mains, rare lamb chops, whipped potatoes with wholegrain, baby carrots and garlic jus. Chicken milanese with semi dried baby tomatoes, mozarella salad and aged balsamic. Charcoal mixed grill: jojeh kebab, kofta, kebab bil robe with saffron rice and onion salad. Finally, Wagyu cheese burger. My son who had the lamb chops has asked me to say it was grilled to perfection and my daughter in law will say the burger on a brioche bun was the best burger ever! All in all a very good experience.

“Celebrating my 15th Anniversary”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

I choose this restaurant based upon my friend recommendation, so i decided to go there for special dinner with my wife celebrating our 15th anniversary. Lucky enough the weather was perfect to choose to eat outside, we choose our table near the small pond enjoying the scene of ducks swimming beside us, the outdoor restaurant is décor and sitting is amazing, I liked it very much.
We choose BBQ Beef rib and Nomad mix grill, the food was tasty and well done, the staffs were very friendly and assisted us all the way.
Parking was easy as a guest to the restaurant we got valet parking
I recommend this restaurant for others to try and taste it by themselves
Cheers

“A jumeirah disappointment”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

Me and my family went to visit this outlet on Saturday (15th March), as it was me and my wife's 5th year wedding anniversary. We were looking forward to a relaxed atmosphere, great food and good service.

To say we were disappointed is an under-statement, the quality of the food was very unlike a jumeirah restaurant, there were flies all over the wrap station and condiments outside. The staff seemed like they would rather be serving someone else, i don't know who as the outlet was practically empty.

We spent exactly 21 minutes at this restaurant and 15 minutes of those we had dirty plates on our tables, despite being seated close to the waiter's station and where more that 4 waiters were just standing around. We struggled to get a portion of french fries for my Son, as there was excuse after excuse from the waiter. Even after I told them that we will pay for what we have, even if it was not included in the buffet.

My wife asked for the plates to be removed and was given a ' Yah' reply, then only when we asked for the bill were the plates taken away. A truly unacceptable experience from a company that prides itself as being a top 5 five hotel chain.
