“A great place to take someone who has no experience shooting, but bring lots of money”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

Took a friend who has never held a pistol before, and had an awesome time. Its not the easiest place to find, even after you get inside the club, its a bit of a drive past the football fields to get to the actual pistol range, which is inside the main club building.

The club itself is tastefully decorated, and the feeling of going through an old fort adds to the experience.

That being said, this place is EXPENSIVE specially if you are not a member.

As others have pointed out, ammunition is sold in boxes of 50 rounds, with the first 50 costing a cool AED 440. Each subsequent 50 rounds is AED 360. Members pay about half that.

“Jebel Ali Shooting - fun - seriously expensive”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

Good place. Turn up with either a UAE Identity card or your passport. Opens at 1pm on Saturdays. First come first served. Great fun. 1 to 1 Safety supervision. Pistols - forget the make - old. Prefer Glock. Electric range - various ranges can be dialled in out to 25 metres. Targets also swivel for snap shooting. Took a lad who had never shot before and they coached him through. He was achieving good results. It is though very very very expensive. Eye wateringly so. You pay for ammunition in lots of 25. 100rnds of 9mm was 880AED. That is a lot of money.

“A new hobby”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

Been shooting , resting in JA Palm Treu Cort, one benefit of the series included in the room payment free. If you have never visited the shooting place , it is definitely worth a visit if only for first impressions, since we can only spoil the first experience. If you have been before, in order to compare . Not to say that something out of the ordinary (such as the Burj Khalifa , and the like ) , but definitely interesting. choice of any weapon , a great restaurant (like our specialized game ) . the only thing that is not very convenient is what is in the side and his visit may be convenient when traveling in the area of Jebel Ali

The shooting place opens at 1600hours. we arrived one day and forgot our passports so couldnt shoot :-(

it costs around 70AED to get here from jumeriah walk.

the people who work here are very friendly and helpful. you cant take pictures inside the range area but a friend can take it from the waiting area.

“Overpriced and unhelpful staff”
Reviewed 17 October 2013 via mobile

These guys benefit from the lack of choice for shooting ranges in Dubai.

When we visited, the place was packed, no bookings had been respected, and the reception staff openly admitting to not answering phone calls because they were too busy.

You'll find the place expensive, no advice is given for beginners, and you're pushed by an army of rude Indian weapon handlers to using up your bullets ASAP so you can give way to the next gun user.

I will not go back and will not advise to anyone.
