This hotel was built in 1963 is was the first hotel on the eastern side of Dubai Creek and its on the Creek great position close to the Gold ,spice,and old souks, the service was impeccable,the rooms, food,same couldn’t fault the place , from doorman to manager

We chose Riviera Hotel for 3 reasons.
Price, Airport Shuttle and proximity to HOHO Bus Stop.
We did not use HOHO Bus as it turned out...... but instead chose a private tour organised by the hotel which we thought was much better........and it was.
We only had a standard room without much of a view but the room was lovely.
Spacious & clean, desk, safe, wardrobe, bar fridge, tea making facility and a wonderful big bathroom with shower over bath.
Breakfast is available at a price and there are 2 restaurants on site and a gym.
Breakfast is a major production.......everything is very fresh and nicely presented.
We had an Asian meal in the dining room and again it was all very nice.
Across the road from the Creek where dinner cruises are available we thought it was
In a good location.
The staff members were all lovely and most helpful.
The only downside was the smell of cigarettes in the common areas.
We only had two nights but would Definately stay again.
