“Only for 3 days maximum”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

I stayed there for 8 days and i would say it was below than average. Breakfast was moderate, no true varieties. Room was moderate, spacious but i have some kind of insects on my bed!!! which when u returned home have allergy for 3 days. No free wi-fi in lobby or rooms (pay 100 dhs for 24 hour access).

On first day i arrived, the sink in bathroom was stuck. When i called the room service, one came and removed the cover of the hole in sink and said problem have been solved!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time i have coffee in breakfast, no spoon is serviced with the coffee plate to mix sugar and i have to order one everyday,

The exterior is quite good and we got a good rate as in comparison to other hotels in the same locality.the hotel was a big disappointment once we checked in.firstly the whole place smelled of hookah/sheesh a.they were very stingy with water.didn't give more then 2small bottles.water is not expensive in Dubai ,just inconvenient to buy and get from the market.THe ice we asked was charged 10dhirems.they didn't give any extra tea bags either.I have stayed in a lot of hotels of this category and everywhere the hotel has been very supportive with these issues. To use free wifi we have to order 2cups of tea. They made money in every little thing possible

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was clean with nice room in good location, near the Creek. They were not friendly and supportive to us, especially the front desk staff. They wanted to keep the passport as a guarantee and when I refused they said they prefer cash deposit rather credit card! In check-out: they will not leave you leave if not checked the room and the minibar. The Wi-Fi was not free and the staff will give you the password after you ask them 100 times. It’s unacceptable..

We stayed one night in an a apartment, it was clean and all the space you needed. Three bathrooms, two bedrooms and a huge living room with more pillows than a sultans tent.
Everything was good but no free WiFi, if you need anything the front staff are good , but the porters know exactly what you need and will guide you better.

Room Tip: For families ask for Ana apartment

Emirates Concorde Hotel is fantastic minus the free wi-fi. We were visiting Dubai during the peak new year time plus the start of the shopping festival and had booked this in advance. The hotel lobby, the elevators and the look of the hotel from both the inside as well as the outside is very impressive.

Our check-in was hassle free and we had to wait for only about 15-20 mins. They accommodated our request to have a room at one of the higher floors. The staff was courteous and the room service prompt. There is also a supermarket and a pharmacy on the ground floor in an extended wing of the same complex.

The rooms with dated television sets and the bathrooms are great. The hotel being in Diera is about 20 kms away from the main city but getting cabs from outside the hotel is very convenient and you reach anywhere within 15-20 mins. The Deira City Centre is only about 5 mins away from the hotel.

The food is great too! We usually ordered for chicken based dishes and weren't disappointed on even a single occasion. There is a mini-bar in each room and a refrigerator too. All goodies inside the refrigerator and the chocolate goodies at the mini-bar are not complimentary.

Highly recommended if visiting during the peak season and there is a dearth of hotels in the main city.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor which is the 8th but on the opposite side of the creek view. I'm not su...

This probably warrants a 4* but as a matter of principle I take away 1 star if there is NO FREE WIFI, hence the 3* rating. It is convenient for the airport and the creek area but in truth it is slightly dated and needs some refurbishment. Having said that, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good quality.

This was a hugely disappointing stay in a city that prides itself on great hotels and great service. The public central area of the hotel and the exterior were very impressive but that's where it stopped. The receptionist when we arrived was surly and unhelpful. Our 'non-smoking' room reeked of smoke and when we called our 'friendly' receptionist to get moved, this was done with an air of 'troublesome' tourists to contend with. Our "deluxe" room was very tired and badly in need of redecoration. The hotel information materials were torn and worn and covered with scribbles - which basically summed up the overall "who cares" attitude of the management of this hotel. The pool staff were polite and friendly but the pool itself has very limited sun - situated where it is between the canyons of surrounding towers. The Persian restaurant (ground floor and with street seating) had excellent food and was very efficient, although the Maitre D never bothered to smile - even when we returned for a second time. Overall, I would steer well clear of this hotel - It is not well run and there is great competition in Dubai. Avoid!
