We went to ski Dubai last week (snowpark tickets) and I was shocked at the lack of safety procedures by staff.

The double tube ride that follows a path along the outside edge of the ski ramp is so badly surfaced I had to lift my body right out the tube to avoid a serious coccyx bone injury. The slide is very uneven in places and covered with protruding mats. Additionally, the entrance to this ride is very badly marked and the staff allowed us (women with a 3 yr old child) to walk across the busy ski path, unaided to reach the beginning. This was only after asking one staff member if we could go across and he didn't even bother to turn around and see what we were doing.
We were allowed to enter the queue for the big tube slide that lauches a tube into the air and onto a huge inflatable mattress. With my child being only 3 yrs old this was a shock (of course we didn't continue).

Areas were very unclearly marked, there are no directional signs and staff could not speak English. Additionally, it is very unclear who is allowed on what ride/where. Staff also allowed small children to enter on the request of their parents (even though they were clearly well below the age requirements).

In general, a very unpleasant experience with too many people, clothing and shoes lying all over the entrance area, too little sleds, too little snow, pushing and shoving, long queues blocking certain areas and general confusion.

It's expensive, chaotic and unsafe. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with children.

We don't ski but went in for the experience, which we enjoyed thoroughly! Marveling at the enormity of the task and human feat, seeing locals in the characteristic head scarf ski, enjoying the ride on the ski lift and savoring the hot chocolate at the cafe that overlooks the ski piste was a really worth the visit! The cafe with the huge fireplace outside is also worth a visit

The skiing was fun in Dubai. As a family from New England, we thought it would be fun to say we'd found skiing in the desert. The skiing was actually pretty good. There were lots of people there, but it wasn't crowded.

Very expensive for the activities available. 2 slides and the ball is not enough. People who know how to ski will enjoy it better.
Not recommended unless the price drop little bit. You have to pay more to watch the penguins! Bring a hat with you.

It was very cold, not comfortable, after like 15/20 minutes not easy to stay inside.I feel like the way they were providing the suites they should also provide something to cover head and face.I know could easily be bought but when u don't provide the face an head cover then the first timer would not know it's essential.I an my family couldn't enjoy so much as not properly informed about it and I heard other people also having this problem. If properly dressed could enjoy more and only then it's worth the money otherwise toooo expensive.
