I finished my first stay at Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa last week. The hotel is very clean and nice. The rooms are excellent and most importantly the hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. The food has an excellent chef, we tried some items from the menu and love them all. If you have a rental car, the valet is there 24/7. I've stayed at many hotels in the middle east, Europe and United States, you cannot go wrong if you book your stay here.

Room Tip: Higher floors are obviously better. If you like sunshine in your room, chose the rooms that look tow...

In researching the choices among Dubai's myriad hotels, it was not easy to decide which area would be best. It was a lucky guess to pick the Arabian Courtyard Hotel which turned out to be by far the most convenient. In fact it is in the only area in this broiling hot city where strolling the surrounding streets is feasible and enjoyable, with many restaurants to choose from.
Being much closer to the airport than hotels on the beach area was convenient since our flight arrived from Kuala Lumpur at 3am (as do many flights from the Orient bound for Europe).
The hotel allowed us to snooze in a comfortable lounge until we could check in several hours later.
Our comfortable room overlooked the museum across the road, and over to the Creek a few hundred metres beyond. While buldings obscured the Creek itself, we knew it was there from the vessels cruising past the rooftops..
Other reviews had warned us not to expect that the Arabian Courtyard had either a courtyard, nor was it very Arabian. There are other lavish hotels where, at two to ten times the price, such qualities are found; but our hotel was adequately luxurious in all respects. Particularly useful was its complimentary shuttle service to the beaches each morning. From there it was a simple matter to take a local bus further along the beach front to the famed sights of Palm Island, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel etc. It is so hot in Dubai that many of the local busstops are enclosed and airconditioned. From the beach road, it is easy to take a taxi to the luxury malls such as Emirates. Also out onto the millionaire ghetto of Palm Island itself
Shopping in Dubai is highly tourted, as is its service, but the luxury malls seem to cater exclusively for those with fat wallets. Only by exploring areas closer to Arabian Courtyard were we able to find shopping plazas with a more reasonable range of quality goods.
Five minutes walk to the Creek front finds the jetty for the little open boat taxis that for a few cents take you across to the Gold Market with its high covered walkway. This is another area of luxury hotels, but not as convenient to nearby shops or restaurants.
. The newly opened elevated railway from the Creek area to Emirates Mall is the best way to take in the overall impression of Dubai's extravagance, passing the needlelike skyscraper which competes with Burj Al Arab as the icon of this opulent city state.

stayed here for 2 nights, staff and porters were great ,hotel dated and breakfast average.
rooms were ok,however if you get in at 2am and then get woken every morning at 445 I dont appreciate. I do realize thats there culture, I have been in other hotels in Dubai at jumareih beach they dont have this problem.

This was our 7th stay at this hotel. We love the location in " real " Dubai close to Dubai Creek and opposite the Dubai Museum. The service has always been exceptional. Friendly, courteous staff who are always on hand. Rooms are clean and comfortable with large beds. The upper level pool area is small but there are a few sunbeds and perfect for a cool off swim. The lower level has more sunbeds but could do with more parasols for shade. Breakfast buffet is good as is the chinese restaurant. The hotel is next to many local busineses and shops as well as numerous restaurants offering very tasty and cheap food. Taxis are easily flagged down outside and the staff are always on hand to help. If you are looking for a great good value hotel then this is it.

Room Tip: Rooms best 4th floor or above. Rooms facing Museum have nice view.

I've been staying at this hotel about 2 or 3 times a year for the past 5 years. It has everything...a bar, a pool, a gym, a spa, a salon, 3 restaurants....a tiny bit out of the way, but I've never had a taxi driver that didn't know where it was. Good food, great service from the staff, always polite...room service, baggage porters, doormen. Always available to get you a taxi...and the place is always clean.

Stayed for two night stop over on the way to Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is in a very convenient spot, directly opposite the Museum, five minutes walk to get an abra, close to hop on tour bus stop and a short walk to Bastakya. I had a room with a view of the museum. The hotel is somewhat dated but was satisfactory for the price. Had a very good, if rather long, massage. Small rooftop swimming pool which was usually very quiet.

I only have the best to say about this hotel. The rooms are very nice with the Arabian vibe - you don't get that cold hotel like feel, large flat screen TV, large room....the only thing I could think of is that the bathroom is a little small but its not a big deal. The value for money is great. The location is even better. Dubai can be a bit 'dead' at night and with hotel being located next to a busy road with lots of restaurants and so close to the Dubai creek, it's the perfect spot to be. You can walk to the metro in 10 minutes, you can walk to the water taxi in 5 minutes.

The buffet breakfast is good to and the Chinese Restaurant is also a nice place to be.
The hotel is not thaaaat large but big enough to enjoy a swim.

The only thing I could point out that isn't so good is the cost of using the internet (computers). It's a bit much with A$5 if you can have it for AU$0.80 only 2 minutes away.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the free shuttle bus to the beach and the airport is a real plus. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and come back any time.
