The hotel is ideally located for the museum, creek, souks, and the old town.
The staff were brilliant and the restaurants served great food.
Take advantage of the free bus to the wonderful beach as it is well worth the trip.
The shuttle to the airport was excellent and took only 15 minutes.

Ideally located close to Dubai Creek making visits to the Souks easy. Good restaurants at the hotel, particularly the Indian, and the fitness and spa centre is well equipped. Staff very helpful and friendly, and the inclusive breakfast and use of the executive lounge when staying in an executive room is great value compared with the ordinary rooms (similar price to ordinary room + cost of breakfast). Very comfortable beds, but intrusive air conditioning (don't know what it is like on lower floors, we were on the top floor).
We will be back...

It´s 15 min car ride from airport, next to the old part around the Creek and souqs and easy to reach other parts of Dubai such as Trade Center and Jumeirah. Staff was very correct and helpful, rooms were big and clean. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Arabian Courtyard is ideally situated for the exploring old Dubai, short walk to Creek and Bastakiya area and directly opposite Dubai Museum. Fab doorman, looks like he has stepped out of Aladin.Short taxi ride to nearest Metro station. Executive floor is a good option and well worth the extra, especially for 3 free early evening drinks.
As already stated, short walk to the creek and well worth getting on an Abra (1 dirham each) to go across the creek to the gold souk.
Tip, if you want to go to see the fountains in front of the Burg Khalifa go up to TGI's on the second floor of the Dubai Mall. They have an outside area where meals are served and you get an exellent view of all the fountains.I believe they only operate from 7-00pm-10pm.We had to wait 30 minutes for a table but it was well worth it. Personally I think they are better than the fountains in front of the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
My wife and I are looking forward to going back to Dubai as we did not have enough time to see everything we wanted.

Excellent location for a city trip. Opposite the Dubai Museum (advisable to visit!), which means that everybody (such as taxidrivers) can find the way. Very helpful personnel, good beds and comfortable rooms. Though in a "lively" neighbourhood, inside the hotel it is quiet. Walking distance to The Creek with old souk and for only 1 Dirham the small boats bring you to the other side (Deira) where you step into the herb souk and gold souk. Next to the museum is a stop of the "hop on - hop off bus" which is a convenient way to pass or visit lots of the "must do's" in Dubai. We would advise everybody who wants to go for a city trip to stay in this hotel. But....if you are going to Dubai for a beach holiday, you better look for a hotel in the beach area.

We stayed at the Arabian Courtyard in Dubai for 4 nights in February. We loved the location in Bur Dubai - it is in the centre of the older area of Dubai. It was convenient for visiting many of the sights and souks. Taxis are cheap in Dubai so it was easy and affordable to get to the other areas of the city. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were courteous. I would highly recommend the hotel and it would certainly stay here again.

a decent hotel in a good location at a fair price. The staff were very helpful and the eastern restaurant gave us a good meal at fair value. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay to see the sights without breaking the bank.
