Generally it was rather ok. Although, they are the details which really count. 1.The staff were extremely rude and their behavior were utterly unacceptable. 2.The breakfast was always cold. 3.they didn't provide the hotel transfer with complete rudeness which was part of my reservation. 4.I was discriminated against my nationality. 5. And tea tasted like boiled soil.

I was a little skeptical about staying here after reading many poor reviews. However, I was delighted with what I got. All you need to do is tip the front desk guy a few dollars and you make his night. He switched my room from the second to fifth floor and the room was very clean - no complaints. The metro stop is literraly a one minute walk from the hotel front door. And if you don't want to go to the bar then don't go! Dubai has lots more bars to offer so you have choice!

Room Tip: If you're going to sleep before 3am then ask for a room on the 5th floor or higher.

I was there for one night.
The room was clean and big.
There is no complimentary bottel of water and the fridge was empty.
The location is not bad,you can arrived to the beach with the taxi in 5 min.
There are 2 night club with freelancer, but they will not disturb you.
Nobody can visit the room.
The breakfast is mostly indian and cost 25 aed,not very good.
I can not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Stay in the upper room. the disco close at 4 am

Booked it Agoda.com and reviews were poistive there.
Later on when read negative reviews on TripAdvisor.com I got worried about the nuisance here I hotel.
However, I found hotel comfortable and good value for money.
Also I TripAdvisor it show no metro station within 1km, in reality Al Khalidi metro station is just 1 minute walk from hotel.

This 3 Star hotel has a nice location in the heart of bur Dubai & very easy to find & near Metro station.
I get very good price for 2 rooms with breakfast
The receptionist was not fdly & he insist to see the passport or ID for all the family, I manage to give him mine & my wife one, he told we have to wait for 30 Min to get the room ready.
He offer us connected rooms, the room was nice but old style TV still exist with only less than 15 Chanel to select & was not clear.
Breakfast was free, but the tools are old, the selection is not more although its an open buffet without fresh jouce - staff are helpful.
I like the swimming pool, small but very clean & there is one for kids.
Bob in the entrance of the hotel, this should be in other side or upper floor to be far from kids eyes.
They allow us till 14:00 PM for checkout & the room service was ok.

Room Tip: I was in the 3rd floor, the club sound reaching us, anything top than 5th floor.

I stayed for 2 nights in early March and never again. To start wiith the receptionist was very unfriendly and refused to give me a room on arrival at 10am even though i had a confirmation printout stating the same.
The free wifi advertised was not free but 15DH an hour (£3) unless you were prepared to go to the bar and use it there which was a big NO NO for me as i am a Muslim and dont drink and i had my young niece with me who wanted to use it.
The advertised free parking was 10 minutes walk away.
But what really annoyed me was the fact that the hotel had 3 noisy bars the noise from which reverberated throughout the bedrooms and the fact that the bars were quite blatantly facilitating open prostitutioin. I watched the staff at the hotel and it was clear that they were clearly involved in what was going on and this was nothing more than a brothel for westerners. For the locals the prostitutes were on the street corner right outside the hotel.
I would not recommend this to anyone with a family.
OK if you were looking for a brothel.

Room Tip: dont bother with this one

This hotel is well positioned for quick access to Metro, Dubai Creek, Burjaman Mall, Main bus Station as well as bus routes. This is a very noisy hotel with the York Club that runs until 3am daily. So if u use their services, suggest a room on 7th floor.
A real rip off was stating that entrance fee to Bollywood club is free. Just ordering a pepsi and orange juice cost AED 90. This is daylight robbery. You dont even pay this in Paris or Europe. They should rather charge an entrance fee or visitors should ask upfront what drinks cost.
The showers did not mix well. Either too cold water or too hot water. Decent breakfast.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the top floors if you wish to catch a little sleep to take on the next day
