Well when u go to dubai u need to go for a cheapest hotel stay coz the other things are dam expensive here. Thus when i started searching for hotels the cheapest that i could get was this.
This was the only thing good about it. Dont expect any good service. The staff is not bothered. The studio room that I had taken had a small kitchen with electronic gas, kettle, cutlery all god for an indian who wants to save and cook in hotel. But the plates once used were cleaned only the next day as the staff didnt bother. Moreover the staff doesnt know english make sure u speak in hindi or they will not underatans\d what u r saying.
This hotel gives u a feeling of some old village hotel that has suddenly received many tourist and they dont know how to handle.
The only good thing was the travel desk who was very helpful and explained all the necessary details. Anyone seated there was friendly n good to talk to.

Room Tip: Closest to metro station thus very easily accesible by metro. and cheaper than the other hotels. Not value for money but u can stay here coz of the location and the metro station being close.

I travel annually to Dubai with a group of colleagues for work and I have stayed at Moon Valley Apartments in March 2012 and April 2013. I found their rooms were clean, and I had a good nights sleep on a comfortable bed, the rooms were quite spacious, with a mini kitchenette,a decent sized fridge and cold air conditioning, for security the hotel also has a bank of safe deposit boxes by reception.
The main selling points for this hotel are its location and its value for money, the hotel is well positioned for all transport, taxi's, Burjman Metro and buses, and it also has several supermarkets (with late opening) as well as a few banks located nearby on the main road. Nearby you can also find Burjuman Mall, Dubai Creek and the gold and spice souks a short taxi ride away, and the sightseeing tour bus (well recommended) stops conveniently nearby outside Burjuman Mall.
The Hotel has a large reception with comfy chairs and sofa's although I found breakfast (Indian style with some dry pastries) to be really lacklustre and unappetising, prefering to eat a more continental style breakfast at the Dome Cafe (free wi-fi) next to Burjuman Metro station with great coffee and the added option of eating Al-fresco. The hotel swimming pool is quite tired and in dire need of renovation, although the roof terrace has a nice view and it's a good place to relax and watch the sun go down.
The staff are friendly and while not being the most pro-active in the world, they endeavoured and invariably succeeded to resolve any issues with courtesy and a smile and they were happy to go the extra mile, I would stay here again.

The location is great with metro , restaurants and shops nearby but the hotel is abandoned.

The rooms were clean but poorly conditioned. Not to mention the terrible breakfast. It is impossible for me to eat indian food at 7:00am and for 8 days! All other food was crap. No honey, no cheese, no yogurt and no coffee and tea without sugar!

The price was good but I prefer to pay 10€ more perday and have a decent breakfast next time.

1. Air con not working
2. Stains on the toilet seat
3. Water leaking in the bathtub from overhead ceiling
4. Extremely old, dirty, hard bed and uncomfortable pillows. Bed was missing 2 short legs at one end!!
5. Very poor cleanliness and stained linens
6. Paint peeling of the walls
7. Only 1 charging point
8. Super old furniture in run down condition
9. Breakfast is minimalist and cheap quality at best

Looks like management planning a sale of the property as it does seem to have been upgraded for many years.

Would give a negative score if the site allowed.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel. Far superior options are available around this location.

Firstly, the hotel is located at a great location which is just beside the Bur Juman Metro station.
This station is junction connecting both Green and Red lines in Dubai.
The rooms are quite spacious and decent, also clean.
There's a lot of space in wardrobe. But had a difficulty operating the safe box.
The bathroom could be more well maintained.
I had booked online hence got a very good price, as prices in Dubai are really high.
The area around the hotel is also very clean and decent.
Good location to stay if you are a tourist with limited budget.
