“Good Transit Hotel”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

I have been in this hotel for one night transit.
The stuff was friendly the breakfast was nice and the room was clean.
This was all what I expect from a transit hotel.
The only glitch was that the bed was not comfortable and quite noisy.
This is a good transit hotel but for longer stay this will be another story.

Stayed here just one night on a short stopover in Dubai on my way from Copenhagen to Ho Chi Minh City as a part of Emirates' Dubai Connect service. Was picked up by shuttle bus at the airport and shortly after at the hotel where I was checked in by very friendly and polite Emirates staff. Arrived around 11 pm and was offered complimentary dinner buffet that ran until after midnight. I was too full and tired to eat and went straight to the room where I was glad to find two bottles of complimentary water. Room was on the basic side but nice, quiet and clean. Was woken up by phone early enough to get a good breakfast before the shuttle bus took me back to the airport.

Stayed a night at this place. value for money hotel, just situated back of beyond so reaching the place, getting in and out is a pain.
The guy in the next room had some food for dinner and left the plates with leftover food outside his door when i checked in on the 28th.
When i checked out on the 29th the plate and food were still outside the door.
On checking out i brought this to the notice of the lady at reception who did not seem too disturbed by the news. My bed had hair left behind by the rooms previous occupant prompting me to think that the sheets had not been changed for me
Voices of people outside the room can be heard in your room and that is disturbing.
My room had no window which allowed me to look out
Still its value for money kind of stay , though not very clean

we stayed for 3 nights half board, average rooms, very clean, not the best of locations but in good distance of everything, taxi was a fiver to the mall and burj al khalifa which was good. food was good for a 3 star rated hotel, you have lack of control on the Ac as its themo driven, a good choice for a short stay and a sleep over. the staff were bit moody i would say, could of helped more, had to bring my suitcases down from the fifth floor myself as there was no help when checking out.

Would recommend this hotel to any one . And if i go back to Dubai will stay here again

Room Tip: stay away from the private cabs they are very expensive

My son and I were placed in the in a room at the rear of the hotel, the windows were blanked out to obscure the view of the cemetery some 100 yards to the rear. At 6am each day we were awakened by the sounds of the pile drivers on the building site, some 300 yards to the rear. A large area of land adjacent to the rear of the hotel was in fact marked up for re-development in the near future The bathroom had mould growth all round the top of the sink under the rim, not nice to wash your face in.
A poor response by the management to the above, scribbled a note on a bit of paper but did nothing at all to improve things, not good for a hotel in Dubai.

Room Tip: Do your homework in advance its important. I went for a holiday not to write reports like this.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a travel bag multicentre holiday to Mauritius. It is ok, it's like a travelodge, it's clean and comfortable, but nothing special about it. It would be fine for overnight stop or business trip, but for a special holiday I would book somewhere a bit nicer nearer the beach.
The hotel provides a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel as well as from the hotel to the airport. This is really convenient. At the airport you go the the emirates hotels help desk and they direct you to the shuttle bus.
The hotel is not in a great location, it is close to the airport but in the middle of nowhere. However, it is not difficult to get around. The hotel provides free shuttle buses to the beach, city centre, malls, museum and wafi which has the nearest metro station. We travelled around everywhere using the metro from wafi, it was so easy. You can buy a metro card which you just top up when needed. We did get a taxi a couple of times and they are very cheap ( avoid usi the hotel ones which charge double).

The room was clean but the air conditioning could not be adjusted and it was too cold. We tried switching it down and turning it off, but nothing made any difference! We also couldn't open the window. Quite annoying, especially when it was 40 degrees outside!! Free tea and coffe in room which was nice.
Hotel has a lovely pool.
Breakfast is nice, but the cooked items were not so good.
Would stay again for a stopover.
