“Smelly”
Reviewed 18 October 2013 via mobile

Sorry but each time I entered the hotel,my stomach was turning down with the scents which are regularly used in lobby. Maybe a lot of people from Asia would love that smell but it was extremely disturbing for me. I heard that the inhouse rest was famous for asianfood but didnt try . Elevators were not cooled down by AC which was a pain. Overall the room was clean, was not smelling, bathroom was not bad. I will not try it again just because of the smell in the lobby.

The rooms were clean but ours didnt have a good view it faced buildings which werent much important to me. rooms have refrigrator,Tv,phone, hairdryer and all essentials we had to ask for the toothbrush and the toothpaste though.Since it is a islamic hotel no alchoholic drinks were allowed .The staff were kind and helpful and they will give you wake up call if you ask them to.It has a very limited daily internet for free the rest you have to pay for. It is located opposite the City Center mall and the metro is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was brilliant lunches werent as good as the breakfast. In total I was pleased

I flew into Dubai for just a few hours so I could have a business meeting. I arrived late (about 11pm) and met until 5am. For this meeting, we used my room - which was sufficient - nice comfortable chairs and a coffee table. The lobby has areas to meet but we decided on the room so we felt we could talk more openly and freely. Internet was available which was useful for our discussions.

The room itself was very good. Comfortable bed, good bathroom and all other facilities you would expect from a 4* hotel. Check-in and check-out were good and they actually called me to see if wanted a wake-up call.

Location is fantastic - close to the airport and just a short walk to Deira City Centre Mall.

I have stayed at the Al Jawhara Apartments with the family before - the hotel is next door - and our experience was very good also. You can use the facilities of the other - adding extra value

I would stay at the hotel again when in Dubai. A very good business and transit option.

This hotel is locating in Port Saeed and very close to Deira City Center Shopping Mall and also it is just ten minuts from airport by taxi. This hotel is very good for business trips but it is enough far from main attractions of Dubai and beach. I stayed there amost all March of 2013. In this hotel alcohol is not available and the is not busy what is best advantage after working day. Rooms are clean and I had view to Burj Khalifa.

Recently stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The room at the hotel was nice and roomy, with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of space. However, the hotel charges extra for internet service, a practice that I think is unacceptable in today's modern world. The one major disappointment at the hotel was the breakfast. The breakfast was worst than plain and was unimaginative. A little
more thought (and no doubt a little more cost) would provide a much more satisfiying experience regarding breakfast. Apart from that aspect, this was an acceptable hotel.

Hotel located near the City center Deira , arrived at 2.30pm , room was not yet ready, been upgraded to executive floor, in fact they gave me a 2 connecting bedroom , nice gesture but I really didnt need 2 rooms. Staff is very nice and helpful ( maybe too much as they called twice to ask if everything was ok) but cannot complain about this. Room was large and comfortable , excellent bed.The only problem and according if your room is located on the front , the mosque next door with the prayer call at 5am can be disturbing.

Room Tip: if you are disturbed by prayer calls at 5am ask for a room in the back.
