“Excellent value for money!”

I needed a hotel for a one night layover in Dubai and this was the perfect choice!

Firstly the staff were efficient and very helpful - assisted me with finding a cab. Secondly the hotel is close to Deira City Mall other bargain places such as Dae and Nite etc. Thirdly the hotel is not too far from the airport - 10 minutes of less.

My room was very clean and modern. I would certainly stay there again!

Went on a 1-day trip to Dubai and just needed a place to spend the night in. Al Jawhara Gardens had a great location and it was clean and neat for the stay.

I had my meals in Deira City Centre which was few steps away.

The hotel is managed run according to strict Islamic principles. A double room is denied to unmarried couples. It happens that customers are asked to provide a marriage certificate? An excellent promotional deal on the internet and the central location led me to stay in this hotel. The room was bright and well appointed with a good bed. The bath room was perfectly clean. A kettle for tea and coffee, water bottles, a respectable selection of free toiletries and slippers was provided. A safe, flat-screen TV and free Internet are part of the standard.
The breakfast is richly garnished with Arab and western dishes. It costs USD 14.-. The room service menu offers a wide selection of Middle Easterner, Asian and Western food. The hotel is dry. No alcohol is served and consequently there is no noisy nightclub.
The access to the swimming pool and the well-equipped fitness room is restricted be separate times for male and females customers. The location is close to the Deira City Centre Shopping Mall. Many restaurants are near or inside the mall. The rride to the airport takes only 10 minutes. The Metro station (City Centre) is 10-minutes walk away.
At the bargain price of slightly more than $ 50.-, this hotel is worth a try when bargain hunting.

This is a property which follows strict Muslim laws whereby non-married couples are not allowed to stay in the same room. Therefore I would not recommend this hotel for any couples thinking they can sneak past this policy. If in doubt, the Front Desk may even ask for your marriage certificate. While this may be viewed as a con, this policy keeps the hotel integrity well and serves a comfortable stay for families. This hotel is close to the airport as it is in the older part of Dubai which I found quiet and pleasing. Deira City Centre is a 5 mins walk away and should provide you with what you need. The metro there is convenient to take you to town as it rests on the main line. The gym is really basic and the swimming pool is adequate. However I notice both gym and pool opening hours are not consistent or as reflected in the hotel compendium. The best services comes from the Bellman team. The breakfast is basic so don't expect much. Laundry delivery is by hand thus you need to be in the room to sign for it. If not you have to follow up to reach out to them on your own. All in all an average stay.

We stayed here for one night on our transit from Bangkok. Coming here from a fancy hotel, we just didn't like it that much. Looking at how much we paid for one night, it was way overpriced. Just like everything else in Dubai.
The only upside was the hotel staff, they were very nice and welcoming.
the building looks and feels old, the room was small.
we had our 2 year old daughter with us, who hurt her eye against one of the lamps that were attached to the bed, if you're a big person, you might get hurt when trying to wake up, not very well designed room.

Room Tip: Better stay at Ibis or Novotel, or any other known Chain for that matter!
