Lovely apartment, comfortable for family of 4. It's was always a pleasure to return to a clean apartment, with the Bathrooms and kitchen all taken care of ,after a long day of walking n shopping. Had family coming over to visit at the hotel Apartment without any restriction from management which was Great as this was a family reunion after 4 years. Had a lovely stay
And will book again when ever I plan to visit Dubai. Please try to include free Wifi in rooms soon:-)

Room Tip: Room 405 comfortable for family

A really central placed good value hotel. The staff were friendly and offered good advice about where to eat etc.. the rooms were clean and offered good facilities including microwave , fridge and crockery and cutlery. There is a adequate room service available , but choice is sometimes limited by availablity . Recommended for families wanting value.

Comfortable and close to supermarket, metro, Burjuman shoppingmall....we stayed in a 1 bedroom appartment ...loved the kitchen and seperate livingroom.

Tv channels limited, electronic safe (nice touch), as with most things in life not much bears close inspection...alot of things here seem to be cleaned where it can be most noticed.

At the end of the day if you are staying here you are without doubt travelling within a certain budget so bear this in mind...if you really want 7 star with all the trappings then paying for it is the only way to go.

We used the gym...2 running machines, some free weights, and workout station and tv...all perfectly adequate...again if you want all the bells and whistles then paying for a real gym is the way to go.

Limited breakfast..if it's a full English you're wanting...look elsewhere.

We enjoyed our time here and would use this Appartment again...Just don't expect 5 star! it's an economy Hotel Apparment.

Room Tip: If you get room 106 ... and you use the iron and have the aircon and tv on...the breaker swtich will...

Great Economy Hotel Appartment.
It is situated in a paid parking area, but offers free under ground parking.
Appartments are furnished with very comfurtable beds, and great Kitchen (fridge, microwave, washing machines etc)
Very good room service menu - Reasonable priced and good variety.

Only down side is they dont offer Free Wi Fi, which to me they should in their price range. But its ok for a short stay.
Also, public transit system is at 5 - 6 minutes walk.

All in all I would staty here again.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing Bank Street, as it has better view. Although I think there is some construction...

Stayed at AHA for 7 nights in October 2012. Paid around AED 625/night for a 2-bedroom apartment which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff (majority Indians) was cooperative. Room service is fine. Kitchen has got fridge, oven, toaster, cutlery and also a washing machine. Complementary breakfast was liked by all of us, which starts at 6.30 am through 10.30 am. Hotel has got a few supermarkets at a walking distance (Spinneys and Al Madina), where one can find almost everything required. Cold and hot water is available 24x7 but drinking water is not provided by the hotel, even if you pay AED 625/night. Hotel sells AED 8/ 1L bottle of water whereas you can easily pick up 6 bottles pack of 1.5L/bottle from near by Spinneys for just AED 9 for the entire pack. Pool and Gym are fine, they start late but hotel guys would open the gym early on a request. Airport transfers are provided on request. Make sure that you have called them soon after landing so that the car is at arrival gates by the time your immigration and other formalities are over. Hotel's coffee shop also serves lunch and dinner - limited options but good enough if you are tired and dont want to step out of the hotel for the means. Overall it's a nice place to put up - just bargain the price a bit. Pleasant! Would recommend.

Room Tip: Go for 2 bedroom apartment if traveling in a group of 3 or more.

Not to be confused with the Royal Ascot and other 3 similar named hotels/apartments in Dubai! Had 3 nights stay and was very pleasantly surprise- first with the size of the apartment with full bathroom and entry washroom/toilet, loungeroom and kitchen and good size king bedroom. The buffet breakfast included was sufficent and a small variety of food. Reception staff were very helpful with every request. Pool - top floor- very welcoming after a hot day touring and shopping- just the right size but could be crowded quickly! Didn't get to visit gym and sauna
Less positive comments- Air conditioner was noisy in loungeroom- and the control was behind the TV wall cabinet so can't change the setting which was set a bit warm so had to sleep with no coverings!
Also if getting taxi- make sure you have the apartment's business card with map of back and circle the correct site- otherwise the taxi will go to the other places first (tip- mention near Golden Sands- so they get correct place)!

I stayed at The Ascot Hotel Apartment in May, 2012 for 6 days with family of 3 children. At around AED 350 (i.e. US$ 115) per night it was a great great bargain and this included complementary breakfast for the whole family.

The apartment was big and clean, it had 2 bedrooms with separate bathrooms, a separate kitchen with all the fittings and utensils, a washing machine, Ironing facility, a separate dinning/lounge area. LCD TV in the lounge and also one each in the 2 bedrooms. A DVD player was also provided in the lounge. All in all it was an excellent package. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous and responded immediately when needed. The lady supervising the breakfast was always very kind and patiently waited some extra time each day cause my kids got up late for the breakfast. Each day when we arrived late at night totally exhausted, we found our apartment cleaned, utensils washed, beds made, bathrooms cleaned and stocked with fresh toiletries. It was a total delight to just fall on the bed and go to sleep. and the best part our luggage and shopping would be left untouched and undisturbed... i must say that the housekeeping staff is very well trained.

The kitchen is very handy especially with small kids feeling hungry at odd times or demanding MoM cooked food. The laundry (i.e. washing machine) and the Ironing facility help save a lot of cash.

I would strongly recommend this place to anyone especially if you are traveling with kids, cause you need space and regular hotel rooms just do not have it.

Room Tip: Go for the 2 Bedroom apartment if you have kids. It is always better to have space and very convenie...
