Was at Dubai Intercontinental Festival City with the family and friends. We have found it very frustrating that we were not able to combine a long sleep at night (which you obviously always expect from your long awaited holiday) and quality sunbathing. Every morning we almost had to fight for the sunbeds, same as many other guests, which was very disappointing.
The hotels does not mention anywhere on the website that only the luckiest will be able to get sunbeds to feel comfortable when enjoying the sun.
This is not where you want to expect to see competition. It is totally unreasonable that you have to wake up at 7 in the morning to successfully book the sunbeds. It defies the holiday mood and does not make you want to come here again.
The management needs to take it seriously.
Also, dont underestimate the power of the internet. Bad news alwasy travel fast, especially when you let your guests down.
