I have stayed in this hotel 3 times now. I have really enjoyed the facilities and the fantastic rooms. I normally stay in a superior room looking over the creek. The Festival City shopping mall is connected to the hotel; this shopping Centre is world class. It was Ramadan whilst I was in the hotel and I really enjoyed shopping at night. The views of Dubai at night, from the bedroom windows are fantastic – Enjoy!

Room Tip: Superior rooms are great - this is a none smoking hotel.

Usually stay at a beach hotel, but decided to stay by the Creek for 14 days over Christmas. Lovely hotel with excellent in- house facilities - adjacent large mall and a wonderful number of pools shared with Intercontinental Hotel. Got a room on arrival at 9am, good and efficient check-in. Staff very helpful and polite, especially the pool attendants and the hotel was spotless. Nice promenade by the Creek for evening stroll with boat rides available.
Did not use the Belgian Bar, too smokey. The main restaurant was OK but the menu was limited with no Asian meals. However, a special curry meal was prepared when requested.
Ideal for a short stopover or a long holiday. We enjoyed it so much we are booked to go there this Christmas for 15 nights; cannot wait to go back.

Room Tip: Creek side rooms have a good views

I was very happy to read that you found our hotel to be “lovely” due to the “excellent facilities” such as the pool and the Festival mall connected to our hotel. I am honored to receive your kind words regarding our “helpful and polite” colleagues and would like you to rest assured that our comments be shared with the rest of the team and appreciated.

It is unfortunate you didn’t have the opportunity to dine in our popular Belgian Beer Café however I was glad to note that you had time to dine in one of our outlets, the Zaytoun restaurant. Hopefully, on your next visit you will experience the amazing selection of restaurants and also at the InterContinental Hotel next door.

Our guest’s complete satisfaction is our main goal at Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City, and it is rewarding to learn this has been achieved on this occasion. We do look forward to the opportunity of once again welcoming you back to our hotel this coming December.

This hotel was extremely nice and in a great location. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom was interesting in that it had a huge window to look out of just behind the toilet and the shower wall was also a window which gave you a view of the bedroom area. I was on a high floor and in a room by myself so the "openness" of the bathroom did not bother me. The staff would come in before dark and draw the shades to the window behind the toilet. The hotel also had a package of nightly happy hour, breakfast and internet. It was worth it. Another neat feature was the "pillow menu" where you could select from a variety of pillows for your bed, from hard to soft. The location was great in that it was walking distance to shops and restaurants, or a short taxi ride to the Dubai Mall and Burj Al Khalif.

relatively new and nice hotel ajoining part of the creek, on the other side of the creak but frankly taxis are so cheap in dubai, it does not matter. Hotel has nice rooms, very nice bathrooms, good syaff, good restaurants and adjoins the Intercontinental Hotel, with more nice restuarants and pool.

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the creek

Crowne Plaza plus the swankier Intercontinental next door, provide very many and varied eating places. We loved the Belgian Bar which was exceedingly popular not only with residents but with local expats too but not always easy to get a seat. Great bedroom and staff always ready to help. The only minus was that bacon was not served in the breakfast cafe but the rest of the food was great. Situated away from the madness of the city, we preferred to take a taxi when we needed to go sightseeing (the Creek and the old Gold Souk) but the Festival City Shopping Complex was walking distance along the sea front.next to the Intercon. There is almost everything you could think of to purchased in the Festival City complex and more eating places too, we had a thoroughly good time and will be returning.

Don't get fooled by the "off" location of Festival City. Everything in Dubai is close due to the cheap taxi's. Infact we thought the location was perfect with stunning views over the creek and the Dubai skyline from our 16th floor 1 bed suite. Huge bathroom with dual sinks, tub, separate shower and separate toitett. Guest toilett in the entertainment room. The property is crispy clean, service is very good for Dubai standards, with some minor issues like meat served rare instead of medium rare (fixed instantly though!) the rooms modern but cousy and in perfect condition. Plenty of restaurants to chose from. The Hotel is actually connected to the Intercontinental and share facilities. The IC has the Anise Buffet which is one of the best in Dubai! Outstanding value for ridiculous amounts of great food.

Next door is the Festival City mall and marina with plenty of restaurants and shops. If you like high-end shopping this is not your mall however. For that you have Dubai Mall which is 15-20 minutes in a taxi at a cost of 10 dollars.
We had one of our best hotel experiences here and highly recommend this place. We stayed here for a week. Dubai is what it is with cultural differences from The West and not a place to visit for culture. Accept that and you'll have a great time.

Room Tip: You want Creek view rooms.
