“Trully 7 star”

We just went their for a birthday celebration and wow.. It was just amazing.. We had the scallops and the wagyu steak and it was superb!! They have a very fascinating cocktail list and the drinks taste good too... But what won us over was their surprise with the rose petals on table, the bouquet and an amazing service.. Everyone was very friendly and you can tell that it was a true 7 star experience... Will definitely go back!!

“Food was good, atmosphere is better”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 December 2013

We went to the Burj al Arab and had a fantastic evening. We ate at the Al Muntaha restaurant at the top and had the most amazing experience. There is a surreal feeling to being inside the Burj. The food I must say was ok. Excellent service but I have eaten at better places before, so I would give the food a 3 or 4 out of 5. But it is defintely one to tick off. Be sure to go to the bar on the same floor to see some amazing views of Dubai city.

Thank Jes C

The only way to access this hotel is either staying there (beyond most people's means or dining. We went there for Friday brunch. This did not include alcoholic drinks (can purchase at extra cost) but the food wuss very good. Book ahead.

“Overpriced Restaurant Experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013

We paid $150 for Friday brunch at the Al Muntaha restaurant on the 27th floor of the Burj.

Breathtaking views of the Jumeirah Palm, Jumeirah, Business Bay and Burj Khalifa
Good service
Sushi and oysters in a buffet

Poor buffet spread (dry chicken, rubbery beef, luke warm "hot dishes")
No enforcement of the dress code - we saw a lot of really casually dressed tourists taking pictures (most likely part of a tour group), which ruins the fact that we had to pay $150 bucks to eat substandard food - just to see the Burj.

Burj interiors look worn out (maybe its the gold plating that doesn't shine as much?)

“Great view but terrible brunch..”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013 via mobile

I went there for a brunch with friends.. With a 120 euro/pers the brunch in a 7 stars hotel i was expecting a great experience.. It was not great at all.. Food was average.. But the price is much much high compared to the quality.. The view was nice.. But i will never do it again..
