We rated this as one of the better places we stayed during our 6 week trip. Very nice rooms, good showers, clean and well located. You are close to everything, especially the upper section of the city where you can catch the sunset.

Starting with a great breakfast, continuing with overall excellent spaces (rooms, comfortable beds and hot shower, common areas, patio or even a swimming pool) and finishing with friendliness of the owner this was the best place of my Bolivian holidays.

Rene the owner is very friendly and gave us some good recommendations for local dinner. Wifi throughout the property. We stayed in 2 different rooms during our stay which varied in terms of space, but both were ensuite and very comfortable. Communal areas were very pleasant and nice to relax in. Computers available to use if needed. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order. If we were to return to Sucre, this B&B would be our first port of call.

This hostel is really special. Renee, which is the owner, is a really nice guy who's always willing to help you with everything you might need!

The place is lovely, well taken care of and the bedrooms are amazing! The breaksfast is great, there is an open area with a pool, a great garden and chairs so you can chill in a sunny afternoon. The location is great, close to the center and yet quiet at night.

Your only choice to stay at in Sucre and the best place to stay in Bolívia!

Sucre was our first stop in Bolivia and arriving at Casa Verde was a great start to our trip. The location is great - very central but not directly in the middle of the action, so it's quiet but still within walking distance of the main area. It is very safe, the rooms are clean and the showers had plenty of hot water. There are several common areas, including a pool, courtyard and dining room. Although we didn't use it, I saw others using the kitchen so I think it may be available for anyone to use.

The breakfast was also good and the lady who served us was very nice. It included bread, juice, coffee/tea and eggs, with an option of paying a bit more if you wanted more food. We found the regular amount to be very filling, but it's nice to have an option of ordering more if you are still hungry.

The owner, Rene, was great. He was around most of the time we were there and always available to answer questions. He showed us to our room and also showed us how the key to the main door worked - it wasn't rocket science, but did involve a trick or two, so it was very nice of him to take the time to show us how it worked so we wouldn't be stuck outside trying to figure it out. He was also very helpful with giving us advice on bus tickets and calling a taxi for us in the morning. Overall, he really made a significant contribution to our stay in Sucre as it was great to have someone that was happy to answer questions for us - especially nice that he could answer them in fluent English. :)

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Sucre. In our experience, it was one of the best places we stayed at in Bolivia.

Arriving late evening after an uncomfortable bus from Potosi the welcome at Casa Verde could have been warmer. No smiles or welcoming chat from the owner. We were immediately shown to our room which was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, complete with fresh fruit, but again there was a frosty atmosphere from the host. I can't fault the B&B in what it delivers, but if you want to feel welcome and to chat to the owners I would try elsewhere.

We stayed here 4 nights during a period of travel in South America. So far it's the best place we've stayed in and half the reason we spent so long in Sucre. The hotel itself is very clean with nice communial areas, including a swimming pool and PCs to use, as well as WIFI. There is also a kitchen that the owner was happy for me to use on several occassions. The rooms themselves are homely with really comfortable beds (a rare luxury in South America!) and hot showers. The owner Rene is extremely helpful and was happy to offer advice on where to go in Sucre and provided maps for us to use. I would recommend for anyone to stay here.
