I wouldn't drive to Ann Arbor especially to come to this restaurant. We heard people raving about the fried chicken here so we decided to give it a go. After reading all the Yelp reviews that complained about waiting at the restaurant or for delivery (between 1 hour to 2 hours I've read), we decided the smart thing to do would be to order online and tell them we're eating at the restaurant. We picked the earliest time available to pick up our food which was 1.5 hours after ordering.
Our food was ready when we arrived. Unfortunately, they have really limited seating since the restaurant is tiny. We managed to share a table with another group. We ordered the kimchi fries, kimchi fried rice, vegetarian bibimbop and a XL fried chicken. It also came with a side of corn and a side of radishes. In total, it cost around $50 but the portions were HUGE. A lot bigger than what we expected. The kimchi fries was certainly unique and tasted good. The kimchi fried rice was rather one noted. The vegetarian bibimbop was disappointing. It just seemed a little bland and lacking. The fried chicken was good, the skin was crispy and the inside was very moist and juicy. Their chicken was good quality. It isn't the best fried chicken or "to die for" but it was decent.
Overall, considering the time it takes from ordering to eating and the averageness of the food items, I wouldn't specifically drive to Ann Arbor for Seoul Street but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.
