Spent about 1.5 hours here walking around the exhibits. Not many actual artifacts to look at - most have been created, which was disappointing. The museum is free. Planetarium is $5 for a 45 minute show - this is not a movie type show, there is a person who actually delivers the information, interacts with guests, and answers questions. The personal touch of that was nice, but it did feel a bit like being in school.

Some really cool things to take in at this museum, and the atmosphere really makes you want to see it all. The staff member in the planetarium was so impressively knowledgable! She really made the whole trip for me.

A wonderful place to take kids on a family field trip. When my grands were younger we went every year.

This is a smaller museum. It is free with a donation box and a recommended six dollar donation per person. They have lots of cool dinosaur bones. We went through the entire museum in about 1.5 hours.

This museum is the perfect size for an afternoon of exploring. They have a planetarium, dinosaur bones and replicas, taxidermy species of all sorts and a rotating/changing exhibit. We recently went to the Museum of Natural History in NYC and had a better experience right here in Ann Arbor. It is run by donation and the workers are very informative. Definitely will come back!
