“Good Ann Arbor alternative”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

Went here on a Saturday night for a quick sandwich and a beer. The beer selection is excellent, and the food was a good value compared to surrounding higher priced restaurants. I think the $$$ Tripadvisor rating is very inaccurate. It should be no more than $$.

“Good Irish Pub and Atmoshere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

The wife and I stopped here just to get a burger. Good Food and great selection of beers. Service was good for a Monday evening since it was not busy at all . The porch had more people on it then the inside. It's an old looking Irish Pub which I am sure gets really packed on the weekend. Tables are old wood and have carvings in them and throughout the pub. Dark wood and Beer is what's it all about. If you want to get a beer and burger this is the place to stop. I am sure you won't be let down.

“Great Irish pub!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

Delicious food, cold drinks, and a cheery barkeep. What more could you want from your Irish pub? Will definitely be stopping by again.

“Aweful management”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014 via mobile

Since when do people in their 30's need two forms of identification to get in this place? The ID was not blurry or faded at all even though the so called manager said it was. We've been here other times and have spent money here so don't deserve to be treated that way. Shame on you for not allowing us to enter because we don't have two IDs on us!!!

“worthwhile and unpretentious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2014

We had a spur of the moment dinner at Conor O'Neill's on a weekday evening. It sports a very self-consciously "pub-like" appearance. It was entirely pleasant and I'd happily return.

Highlights: a rich Irish lamb stew in a dark broth, with more meat than veg, very good fish and chips, a wide beer menu and really tasty brown bread.

The only real flub was a "Dublin brie" served with bread and chutney. They describe it as "imported Brie cheese tossed in a beer batter and served with peach chutney." I'm used to baked brie. This isn't. It's deep-fried in the same oil used for the fish. That fish flavor really carried over to the cheese.

They frequently have live music, though we were there too early to enjoy it.
