Thank you Lynn and Bob for a great stay. Your B&B is very impressive. Anyone going to Augusta must stay here if only for Breakfast, couldn't eat all of it. Very clean and decorated nicely. Stayed in suite 2 it has a nice sauna.

I was quite lucky to have found Apple Gate Inn during my online hunt for a nice B&B in Augusta. By far, this is the most beautiful B&B on the outside, and the pictures you see online absolutely do not do the inside any justice. The entrance room for guest use feels like it's out of a storybook, filled with sweets and snacks hiding in different places, games, stone and brick walls, and the most wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Lynn is simply the best. Not only is she an incredible chef (every course at breakfast made my stomach and soul smile), but she is such a kind and welcoming host. I can't recommend this wonderful inn enough. If you stay anywhere else, you are really missing out!

Room Tip: Suite 2 was lovely. The sauna and fireplace were perfect after a cold day at the wineries.

My wife and I stayed here during the week, which is a very quiet time in Augusta. The B&B itself was very comfortable, yet had an amazing charm and elegance to it. Lynn, the owner, was amazing, accommodating and great to talk to. She's also an amazing cook as the breakfast the next morning was excellent! My wife is a vegetarian and Lynn came up with a tofu frittata that was out of this world. My southwest inspired oven baked omelet souffle was amazing as well.
We stayed in Suite #1, which is upstairs and only accessible by a cute wrap around stairwell in the front of the building. The room was very cute and had a great jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and also a small mini fridge.
The landscaping was fantastic as well, and since we were lucky enough to have a cool evening we were able to enjoy one of the firepits that are easily accessible.
I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to get away in lovely Augusta and we'll for sure be staying again this Fall.

Room Tip: We toured the other two rooms and they are all nice.

The Apple Gate Inn B&B is perfect. The hardest part is shoving your bike up the very steep hill from the Katy Trail, but once there, the inn is a wonderful reward. Our room, up the winding stairs, was large and gorgeous and comfortable. We had a jacuzzi, much appreciated after a very long difficult day on the trail. Lynn made a wonderful breakfast, served beautifully. I have stayed at a lot of B&Bs and the Apple Gate is surely my favorite. We never did make it into town (much too tired to venture any farther than the brewery too blocks away) and the room was so inviting, it was hard to drag ourselves out of it, even for dinner. I practically passed out and never got up until it was time for breakfast. The Apple Gate Inn is fantastic, awesome, wonderful, fabulous.

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary! We had an amazing time. They were so sweet and really cared about our stay. They went out of their way to tell us about the restaurants in the area and the things to do. Breakfast was WONDERFUL! She even put a candle in my cinnamon bun because we told her we were expecting. We will definitely be back, and look forward to it. Great GREAT bed and breakfast!

The Apple Gate Inn exceeded our expectations. Our stay was on a weekday in winter, a time often missed by many people in preference of warmer seasons. There were no leaves on the trees, no snow on the ground, and yet the beauty of the land was clearly visible. Birds were singing, the sun was shining, and we awed at the scenic views as we topped the hills on our drive to the location. We found the inn to be inviting and squeaky-clean. We stayed in suite two, the early American styled suite. We were pleased with the new carpet, draperies, bedding, and a freshly painted room. We enjoyed the soothing warmth of the fireplace in our private sitting room as we watched satellite TV. The bathroom is small, but efficient with plenty of soft fluffy towels. The two-person sauna was a bonus that most B&B’s do not have. The queen-sized canopy bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast, made to order, was plentiful and delicious. The cinnamon-pecan cobblestone buns warm from the oven were scrumptious. We enjoyed the good selection of teas and cookies. The innkeeper, Lynn, was more than happy to talk with us and share stories about the history of the town and inn. Allowing guests to sign the dining room wall after breakfast is a fun tradition of the inn. We look forward to returning and adding another date to our name on the wall.

Room Tip: Suite two is on ground level and has a fireplace and sauna.
