“Great for a "Girl's Night Out"...or "Inn"”
Reviewed 26 October 2011

Stayed here with some friends last weekend. We were in Anaconda for the 22nd annual "Big Game Opening Day Shopping Season" sales....aka hunting widow shopping day. After a long day of shopping and walking around town, the Hickory House was a great place to relax and enjoy our evening. We brought our own dinner and drinks and just hung out and played games in the main living room. Breakfast was good, but we were hoping for the pumpkin pancakes that we had here last year. We took a quick trip along the Pintler Scenic Route and made a stop in Philipsburg at the Sweet Palace and the Sapphire Gallery and then went back through Anaconda to have lunch at the Sugar Loaf Lodge at the suggestion of Mary Jane at the Hickory House Inn. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Very reasonable rates, close to Fairmont Hot Springs and Butte. Nice location in historic district, and the building itself was gorgeous. Breafkast was quite good, and the hostess was kind. We loved our room, it was very clean and the beds were comfy. Definitely would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hickory House Inn. Our host was a delight and very helpful about things to do in the area. The room was a suite so we had lots of space to relax in.

My wife just loved staying at the Hickory House in the Janie Jane Room. The gardens were beautiful and the breakfast outstanding.

Jan the owner is very cordial.

Stayed here with some friends last fall. We were in Anaconda for the "Big Game Opening Day" shopping day....formerly known as hunting widow shopping day. After a long day of shopping and walking around town, the Hickory House was a great place to relax and enjoy some down time. We played games in the main living room and had a very relaxing, fun evening. Mary Jane (i think that's the right name) came over and locked us in for the night around 11:00. The pumpkin pancakes were incredible the next morning and gave us a good start to another great day taking the Pintlar Scenic Route through Philipsburg and stopping at the Sweet Palace, the Sapphire Gallery and heading back home to Helena.

a girls night out to celebrate opening day of big game rifle season. We were accommodated with extra blankets from our cold evening of walks, comfy rooms and fun games. We borrowed the fridge for our snacks and beverages and enjoyed the company at breakfast and the pumpkin pancakes. At about $35 per person for the evening, it was well worth it!

We were on the road and found the Hickory House Inn on google places as beeing close. It was a last minute, one night stay, but i wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the Montana room and had an amazing room and bathroom! She really has the house set up nicely. The breakfast was wonderful and price was great for everything we got.

I would definitly recommend this B&B to anyone!
