A wonderful meal in a delightful setting. Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere and for a moderate cost. Food is superbly prepared and attractively presented. Best restaurant in Lakes region

“Excellent”
Reviewed 8 December 2013 via mobile

Had lunch here for the first time. Service was polite and fast. Meals were fresh and hot, some a little pricey but not out of the norm for the area. Definitely recommend.

“Was Impressed!”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

We recently dined at this restaurant and was very pleased in many ways. With that being said we were big fans of the William Tell and was sad to see that it had closed. We have dined out in many fine restaurants here, the seacoast, including Wentworth By The Sea, we are for sure foodies !The dining room floor has been freshly buffed and I believe the walls have been painted. We were greeted with a nice smile and welcome, sat at a table for four. the only negative I have is that it was very noisy, the place was extremely busy, I think it was Columbus Weekend alot of Visitors . The waitress was very pleasant and happy to answer our questions, The Cesar salads were Delicious, Better then O's! two of us had the shellfish w/linguine & marinara sauce , the portion size perfect, scallops, shrimp, very good , sauce yummy, the other couple had Parmesean sprimp, they said it was delicious. I had a cosmo, tasty, on the small size, we had a bottle of red wine, we all had a very lovely time and would go back for sure. The prices were also good, $15-$28 .Try it I think you will enjoy this lovely place.

“Pleasantly surprised!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

We were looking for a Lakes region restaurant that was a place we had never tried and offered a good decent meal at an affordable price. After looking online, we decided to try The Woodlands along with another couple. We were all delightfully surprised. The decor was very nice and the food was very good! Our only complaint was the service.....our waitress seemed to disappear for several minutes at a time and we had to wait forever to get our drinks. I can't understand why it would take so long to get a couple of beers and a glass of wine when we could clearly see the bar not more than 10 feet away. Even with this, we would go back agin for the food....and the dessert was awesome. There were several choices on the menu and all 4 of us were pleased. I would recommend this restaurant if you want a change of pace.
