“Chiang Mai Thai”
Reviewed 9 July 2012

This is a very good Thai restaurant. They offer a lunch buffet but I would recommend that you order from the menu instead. The food is very authentic. We love Thai food and go to Thai restaurants wherever we go. I would say this restaurant is certainly better than average and work visiting. We find the food to be fresh and everything is clean and updated.

“Extremely disappointing”
Reviewed 5 January 2012

We tried the buffet that is offered every Thurs and Fri. The food was plain--several unimaginative dishes of vegetables (one with a few lonely shriimp). I have not had Thai food before but this sample of dishes was terrible. From what people have said about Thai food this was -thankfully- not representative of the cuisine. Will try Thai again but NOT THERE!

“Consistently good food and service”
Reviewed 2 December 2011

ChiangMai is a great place. Small and quaint and recently renovated, the menu has a variety of delicious food and they also have a buffet on certain days of the week. My food has always been fresh, the silverware and tables clean, and the service quick and friendly.

“Suprisingly good Thai Food in Amherst”
Reviewed 21 September 2009

We ended up for dinner at Chiangmai because we left another Restaurant in Milford (different story). Anyway it was the best what could happen to us.

Don’t expect a fancy decoration. It’s simpler but the taste of the food is outstanding. As an appetizer I had the fresh rolls stuffed with Shrimps, vermecelli rice noodle, bean sprouts, lettuce, and basil leaves. Wrapped in Rice paper and served with a sweet chili sauce. My Wife had the Tom Yum Goong Soup which was supposed to be hot and sour. Actually the soup was sour but not at all spicy, anyway the incidence where fresh. As A main course I had the crispy ginger duck and my wife had a seafood mix in a spicy broth. This time the broth was spicy and really nice. The seafood where also very fresh and didn’t come out of the freezer. As a side dish we ordered one bowl of brown and one bowl of brown rice. They charged $ 1.- for a bowl, which they could just include in the main course in my opinion. All in all it was very delicious and the next time we are in the Area we will for sure go again to Chiangmai for good Thai food.
