The Dumbo chain is reliable and dependable for a quick if average meal. Its ice creams are always good, as are its sillpancho (thin breaded beef over rice) platters, and its Bolivian pastries. However, I ordered a broasted chicken which turned out to be a rather unseasoned fried chicken. Worse, I ordered a cafe cortado, which is supposed to be a small espresso with hot milk served in a demitasse cup -- instead I was served an empty regular coffee cup, a small pitcher of heavy coffee syrup, another small pitcher of hot water, and yet another small pitcher of evaporated milk and was expected to mix them together myself -- it was anything but a cafe cortado - and for me unacceptable - and I sent it back.
