I believe this is the best place to try some ethnic food from Santa Cruz and the sourrondings. The restaurant is an old house with a cute water well (Aljibe). They have a huge menu of main dishes, soups, desserts and drinks. My favorite soup was Sopa de Mani (peanuts soup_ a must try!) and I had a spice chicken ( picante de gallina). We had different main dishes and all were good! Dessert some sort of milk custard but really good called Quiero mas and some traditional drinks chicha de mani and mocochinchi.
The food is delicious and its not expensive, you can tell that the food is authentic and they dont cook in large, therefore the flavour and the quality are much better than in other ethnic restaurants in town such as Casa del Camba (didnt like this at all, after trying food at El Aljibe).
I definitely will come back!!
