The hotel was a non smoking hotel and smelled very nice!. It was undergoing renovation, but there was no noise from the workers replacing hallway carpeting and other rooms beyond ours. The room was big, clean, very comfy bed and pillows and had a nice view of the boardwalk area. Each room has a micro and fridge. Breakfast was decent. Parking was plentiful and there was a nice pool, but we did not use it--too cold and rainy! This hotel was an easy 10 minute drive to the casino areas. Only negative were a slow moving elevator and a slow draining tub; however when I let the desk clerk know about the tub when we checked out she called someone right away. This beat a $200 a night casino room.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back have a nicer view.

We had stayed at a Red Roof before and new that while inexpensive, we hoped the experience would be agood as well. We were going to a family reunion in Brigantine, and this hotel is very close to both Atlantic City and Brigantine for about a 1/3 of the price! The hotel lobby was very nice -- fairly modern and well decorated. We had a double room and it was also very nice as well. Had a fridge and microwave, which is great. The room was very clean as was the bathroom and completely odor free. The main problem we experienced was with the air conditioner, which would come on very strong and then turn off and stay off for a while before turning itself back on. This made sleeping uncomfortable because the room temperature would go from cold to warm so we were taking blankets off and on all night. The air conditioner was also very loud when it was on, but we preferred that to the temperature change. My husband is an HVAC specialist and even he couldn't figure out how to make it work. Other than that, the price was good and the room was clean and smoke-free, so we were happy. We did not get any maid service on Sunday evening and had to call down for towels, which they left on our door knob instead of coming in and did not make the beds, empty trash, replace soap, etc. Mediocre continental breakfast -- we ate out instead. Pool is very small. But all in all, I would recommend a short stay here if you are looking to save some money.

Unable to find a room in AC for less than $200 for Saturday night, we booked this room. It was a few months out and I thought I'd be able to scoop up,a deal and cancel this room. No way! So off we went. The hotel is easy to find and very convienent to AC, a short ten minute drive. Parking was free, unlike most others. We were able to park close to the building every time. The lot appeared to be safe and well lit. Check in was fast and easy. When we got to our room, there was a cig. Smoke smell in our non-smoking room. Back down to the front desk who were happy to change our room. The young man was also fielding a call so a young lady came right out to offer back up. The next room smelled clean like soap. The room was standard, a/c worked fine, towels were without stain or smell. There were 2 sets of towels and only 1 shampoo ( no conditioner, lotion). Coffee pot, cups, etc. and a clean fridge available. The sink was cracked with a small hole in it, but worked fine. The closet door was hard to move so we left it open. The view is of a Home Depot, but look beyond and it is a pretty view of AC and marshlands. The ice machine on our floor was broken, with a repairman trying to fix it. Unsuccessful, he smiled and apologized. Housekeeping staff and supervisors all smiled and wished us a good stay. Pretzels someone dropped on the hallway rug were gone the next morning. Breakfast was ready for its 7 am start. The fellow prepping it was friendly and kindly asked early birds to wait, but made sure coffee was ready for them and thanked them for waiting. At 7am there were make your own waffles, bagels, toast, blueberry muffins, oranges, bananas, 3 types of cold cereal, coffee, tea, and 3 juices. Staff was available to refill and clean tables. My husband went at 8:45 and there were still all of those options. The wait was never too long. It was quiet with no hallway noise at night. We didn't use the pool, but others were swimming. It was small but looked clean. Check out was a breeze.

Room Tip: Ask for a. Room in the back with a view of Atlantic City skyline.

I stayed at this hotel July 18-21. First the breakfast wasn't all that good the only thing that was hot was waffles and to get one you would have to stand in line for 20 min. Our room the a/c didn't work at all and we were on the 6th floor where it was hotter then heck. We could open our window a little but that didn't help. The pool was a gross green color the hotel people said it was clean but I wasn't going to chance it. The last night in our room we didn't get towels and trash bags. They said on groupon they were right on the beach and they were not. You had to drive everywhere to get where you wanted to go. If you didn't want to go to Atlantic city it would be good. If you wanted to just stay in the town that they where in. I wouldn't stay at this hotel every again, even for the price of a room. Next time we will pay a little extra to stay right in the city so we don't have to drive.

The first night in the hotel, it was nice, perfectly priced rooms. The second day the staff didn't change the sheets or give new towels. I requested this 3 times and nothing changed. So I complained and they moved us to another room. In that room the sheets had blood on them, so I requested them to be changed, and after 2 more requests they finally did, however after the cleaned we found out that our bottle of champagne had been drank, by the cleaning staff. This was the first and last time I'll ever stay at one of these hotels
