“Walking distance to old city”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

The hotel is located walking distance to the old city. It has huge rooms with AC, which cannot be controlled individually, however, the room temperature was comfortable.
The hotel portrays itself as a boutique hotel, but it does not feel like a boutique hotel. It is a little bit run-down and needs renovation. The room was not thoroughly cleaned and there is no AC in the lobby. We ordered a wake-up call for 4:30 am and a tuk-tuk for 5:00 am in order to watch the sunrise over Wangkor temple, however, no one woke us up or ordered a tuk-tuk. At least they appologized for that.

Good place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff. Good food, service and reasonable cost. We were given a corner room, large and very comfortable. Look forward to returning in the near future. One of the positives is that it is a good place to stay at a reasonable cost. Five star service without the outrageous cost of an upmarket hotel

Room was a good size and clean, with good AC, but we expected a bit of charm from this 'boutique hotel' which was lacking. Location was ok for us, walkable to a lot of dinner and shopping spots, but away from the crowd. Certainly not in the middle of things. The pool was a bit of a letdown - given the heat we were really looking forward to cooling down by the pool. It's quite small, which is ok, but looks into another guest's room on one side and the street on the other - a bit odd. The hotel was helpful in arranging a rickshaw and guide for tours of Angkor Wat. Take note of the 'package offers' - we discovered ours was not cheaper than paying for a guide separately, though they did assist in adjusting when I pointed it out. Price felt a bit high for what it was.

Stayed 3 nights on 3th Floor. Lower floors may hear the traffic.
Good facilities offered-nice pool. Spacious rooms. It's a nice simple hotel.
Check- In is relatively fast with room is big and nice comfortable bed. Large glass windows certainly give nice ambient.
Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi is free ... There are spa in the hotel. Security is great ...
Nice, friendly helpful staff. Food very good and very reasonably priced. Good breakfast, enough choice for westerners with a good egg station for fried eggs, omelette etc.
The reception area was well and good maintenance.
The rooms were of a good size and clean.
Overall though, my experience was good here and I assumed the hotel budget was limited.

Room Tip: 306 Good Room.

We stayed here for three nights in December '13, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. We loved the rooftop bar, it was the perfect place for a pre-dinner drink (or post...!), and a lovely spot to sit outside enjoying the warm air and view. The front desk staff were very helpful and able to answer most questions (tuk-tuk to Angkor Wat, etc), although their English was too basic to help with questions about shipping home souvenirs and finding a travel agent to help with our Vietnamese visa. Which is totally ok, of course! I just want to make sure everyone knows it's not the kind of hotel where the front desk can take care of all the details for you. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we used their massage service and laundry service. Both were wonderful and very inexpensive. Great location, easy walk or tuk-tuk ride to wherever you want to go!

We had 5 nights here, my husband and I in a gorgeous deluxe room at the front corner of the hotel, my mother in a very comfortable double room next to us. Our room was very spacious, bright, with windows along two street-fronts. The rooms were quiet and cool, with good aircon. We were there in the hottest week of the year and the rooms were a pleasure to come back to. We also enjoyed the swimming pool in the hot afternoons - small, but we were the only ones using it, and staff were happy to serve food to us poolside. The restaurant has yummy food at reasonable prices and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It was easy to make arrangements for transport and tours, and to get information. Nice to talk to the staff, too, many of whom are locals with an ownership stake in the hotel. Great location. Couldn't recommend it more.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are large, light and well appointed.

This being my first time in Cambodia, I wasn't sure precisely what to expect. I booked the hotel before I left home, based on reviews here on Trip Advisor and on what the hotel has posted on it's website. I was not dissapointed. Quite the opposite.

The hotel is well run, the staff professional, polite and honest, and it's clear they aim to please. They offer sound travel advice and tips. In the room, there's a booket with many useful tips on daytrips, a pricelist for all the trips (it's possible to combine, or make other combinations) and all their services, and suggestions for restaurants around the Central Market. But the hotels kitchen is also very good, I became fond of the Khmer curry and the lime juice served with breakfast is amazing!

The rooms are spacious, clean and the hot water gets very, very hot! There's complimentary toiletries, the bed is nice and firm, there's extra pillows in the closet, even the smaller rooms have a safe, there's a book-share, you can borrow an umbrella if it's raining. Laundry service quick and clean.

There's a nice rooftop terrace with a bar + jacuzzi and seating area in 2 levels with nice views.
It's close to the Central Market area downtown / the pub street area. Just a 5 min walk across the bridge.

I ended up staying 8 nights, mainly due to the fact that I discovered that the more temples I saw, the more I wanted to see. It wasn't the plan, but I had the time. And they were worth it. I used one of the hotels tuk-tuk drivers, Mr. Samnang, as from reading about the hotel, I knew he would be paid for his time. He was very considerate, always taking the scenic route, because - as he said - you don't have this in your country. And he's right! Even all the way out to Beng Melea, drivning through the beautiful Cambodian countryside, taking different routes going out and returning.

I'd definitely stay the again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing away from the street.
