Long time Trip Advisor reader, first time reviewer, but I feel I owe it to the staff at Pavillon to do my part to keep this hotel #1 because it genuinely deserves to be here. This place is amazing. At every point of my stay my expectations were exceeded and I was sad to say goodbye. To all the staff including our brilliant tuk tuk driver - Mr Peach aka Mr Ping - thank you very much.

Bad things:
Good breakfast but croissants could be better... Not much really!

We had a great stay at the Pavillon Orient. We loved Siem reap and Angkor, and I know it is because we stayed in a great place. The hotel is cute, nicely furnished, nice grounds. The staff was super helpful and friendly in a sincere way more than a commercial one... Small hotel, 18 rooms. Transportation from airport is included. They did our flight confirmation for us. Our flights for Hanoi left at 9pm, they let us keep both rooms until our departure at 7pm as the hotel was not full the next day.

But what we enjoyed most was the tuktuk service. As the hotel is a bit our of town, they make available to you a tuktuk with driver for the duration of your stay (from sunrise until 10 pm). We had 3 drivers, they were all super nice. They had cold water, umbrellas. And it is so nice not to have to bargain for a tuktuk everytime you need to go somewhere...

Food at the restaurant and massages were very nice and well priced.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are darker but also less hot.

Meant to write this earlier but time gets away from you!! From the welcome to saying goodbye we had a fantastic stay. such polite, friendly staff that couldn't do enough to make your stay special. Lovely clean room with everything we wanted - good bathroom with separate shower, balcony overlooking pool and a lovely garden area. Nice breakfast (buffet and cooked to order) and could be taken all day, very flexible and all served with politeness, style and a smile. Had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and both were excellent. and good value. We did a 4 day package and had a driver (Mr. Sokham a lovely person and so helpful) with an air conditioned car and an outstanding guide - ask for Vanny if you are looking for an English speaking guide. Having a tuk tuk driver on call was fabulous (thanks Mr. Seth!), he even took my husband to the barbers so he could get a haircut . Its all been said in previous posts, and its all so very true. We would come back to Siem Reap just to stay here again!! Thank you so much.

Room Tip: Go for the upstairs rooms overlooking the pool

Fantastic experience in Pavillon...
Easy booking through their website... efficient pickup from airport.. the premises of the hotel are very homey and warm... service from the staff is just impressive...
we particularly appreciated the van that they furnished us (we were a big group) for free to use during the day...
the pool is great and the restaurant is more than ok...
My only concern was the bathroom... the water has lots of iron and it smells when showering... moreover, our shower was just renovated and it was not painted yet, still with the raw cement finishing...
the hotel is not luxurious or plush, but it is warm, friendly, clean and with a lot of personality...
i would definitely go back to Pavillon...

Stayed here last year and came back again this year as we enjoyed it so much. The staff are exceptional and treat you so well. The rooms are clean, well appointed and really comfortable. Good breakfast and restaurant serves good food. The addition of the tuk tuk is a great bonus. Our driver was really good and we had some wonderful trip round Siem Reap with him. The hotel was quiet when we were here so the pool was very quiet and relaxing. It is located about 10 minutes from the night market and pub street but that didn't really bother me. As we were here last year they gave us a complimentary bottle of Australian red wine and a 30 minute massage each for my wife and I. A real must if your staying in Siem Reap.

Our experience was wonderful from beginning to end. We were picked up promptly at airport, used tuktuk for one day and decided on a a/c taxi with guide for temple tours. All was arranged by our gracious concierge. Nothing was too much trouble for our friendly hosts. I agree with all the reviews!
We stayed for 3 nights in a room with 2 single beds (only one left). Wonderfully decorated, scented and clean! Only downside is the bathroom shower - water invariably overflowed to bathroom floor.
Restaurant food was very good and well prepared. We ate several times and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We also tried out spa/massages services twice - very reasonable but service average.
None of above, however, detracted from our enjoyment! Would go back again. Loved the place and people!
