We started off in a fan room, which was a bad idea. Cambodian heat is suffocating. The A/C room was much nicer too, with a fridge, and hot water. The staff was fairly friendly. My issue with them started when we booked a bus to Bangkok. My boyfriend and I were both very sick and we stressed that we needed a big bus with A/C and a bathroom. They swore that it would be, that a tuk tuk was dropping us off at a bus station and it would be a large bus. Of course, it wasn't a bus station, and we ended up on a terribly late and overpacked minibus, and it was one of the worst experiences of our trip (which has been about 4 months long). They completely lied to our faces. The lodge itself is fine, just don't trust their travel agency.

this is my 2nd stay in this place. I don't expect too much from it. I don't mind bout the room service. if you come to Siem Reap to enjoy & visit places this should be a nice place to stay with a reasonable price. but if you come to enjoy the room, it's not the place.

This seemed like a promising guesthouse but they slowly undid all positive thoughts we had upon booking. First, they promised a pickup from where the bus dropped us off in town. After walking around trying to find the guesthouse (there's an "old" location which most locals think still exists and the map online shows the new guesthouse a few blocks away from where it actually is), we borrowed a phone from a local to call them. Instead of setting up a tuk tuk, they told use to hire our own. First impression: they were unwilling to pick us up as they said they would.

On their website, they promise free perks depending on the length of your stay (transfer pickup, fish foot massage, picnic lunch). We stayed four nights. Unfortunately, they did not just offer up these free things but make you ask for them, then they did not even deliver on them. They should say, "Welcome to our guesthouse. Looks like you booked 4 nights with us. This includes a free x, y and z." Don't make the guest hound you for the amenities you offer!

We asked for the picnic food and they kept saying, "Tomorrow, tomorrow." Well, tomorrow came, then the next day and finally we were leaving the next day at 6:30am. The night before we asked for a packed breakfast for our bus ride. They said we could have breakfast at 6am. Imagine our surprise to find the staff asleep when we came out. When we asked for our breakfast, apparently the night staff didn't communicate this to the day staff. We were happy to eat anything, all they had to do was cook up an egg or cut up some fruit so wen they disappeared in the kitchen we figured they would shortly reappear with something for us. When our bus showed up 45 minutes later, they had just begun boiling water for coffee. Our last impression left us hungry and saddened they had broken another promise.

The fan room was hot, as expected, but what made nights worse was the bedsheets they use. They are really hot and kind of itchy. You sweat A LOT just by sitting down. We had to use our silk sheets liners the whole time. Still, we think there were mites or something in the bed. We were itchy every night and left with little itchy spots on our legs. We looked for bed bugs and don't think they have them, but there's definitely something there.

Breakfast was ok. Either instant noodle soup with a fried egg on top or a fried egg with two slices of bread.

The only good things were: the staff set up a tuk tuk to drive us around the temples (though this can easily be set up elsewhere). They will drive you to Pub Street from 6-10pm (though it's a short walk away).

Overall we don't recommend staying here. You can get much better service and offerings for your money. The things we liked about the property aren't that special and not should sell you on it anyway.

I booked 2 nights but left after one. I was in room 105 I think, it's a 2 twin bed room that's outside attached to the building. Only slept for 3 hours because dogs barked and fought outside like crazy all night. There's no soap, no towel. When I turned on the faucet it dripped out from underneath and splashed on the floor and it hits your legs. The "sheets" are of some weird polyester, it's thick and extremely unpleasant especially when the electricity goes out making the fan quit and essentially turning the room into an unbreathable sauna. The material just makes your sweat sit there and make you wet. The bed and pillow was also permeated with the sweat stink of everyone else that previously suffered there so I stank of it from head to toe. I also had the worst attack of mosquitos. I left with 16 fresh bites. Such a bad experience that I fled and went somewhere more expensive but it was well worth it.

We paid $8 a night for the room, including breakfast. The room was quite large, clean, mosquito screen over window, good sized bed, wall fall, small fridge, tv and ensuite.
The breakfast was fine - bread and fried eggs. We also booked the tuktuk driver there to take us around the temples which was a great experience, he was always smiling and friendly.
All staff were polite and friendly, particularly the manager/owner who was always willing to answer our questions.
We found it to be great value for money and in a quieter part of town, although still within easy walking distance to the main areas.
