Came here drawn in by the lovely authentic colonial loos of the cafe and found a great table at the window on the first floor - amazing place. Felt for a some quick, non-Asian snack and ordered Croque Monsieur. Nothing special, nothing you'd think you could do much wrong about and something you'd expect to be decently served in a place that touts some French heritage in it's name and overall approach. Honestly never had anything worse than what they put on our table! Grease was running all over, the whole thing was just a pile of oily, greasy, chewy something that should have been a crispy toast plus a bit of ham and cheese. As we were hungry we munched in a third of the portion, then stopped. Should have refused at all as Montezuma's revenge had all of us who had eaten from it the next morning.
To be completely fair, satay and spring rolls were ok but nothing special, either.
A pity for such a place that must have been good at some time and still is a very beautiful place to be. From our experience: avoid!
