“very relaxing”
Reviewed 7 September 2012

stayed here for 5 nights and very happy to do so. The standard of the hotel is 3 star but the staff are 5 star, from reception, restaurant, cleaners, all were always smiling, helpful and you feel very much at home here. The layout is so relaxing with the two pools surrounded by what seems acres of palm trees flowers, etc making you feel very special.
Food in the restaurant is simple but good and the hotels policy of charging very competitively for all its services including mini bar is very welcome and we used them where ever possible.
Free wifi was excellent and worked everywhere in the hotel and the access to the main area of siem reap is only 5-10 mins away and please do not be concerned by the surroundings, it is a normal cambodian area and you see life as it is not a sterile tourist envoironment, we thoughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
Only two small comments, shower pressure is erratic in the evening and at some point in the future the rooms could do with a small face lift although that is not a criticism just an observation.
Well done to all at this hotel you made us very welcome. Thank you!.

Room Tip: all rooms look on to a pool so no worries about what one to have.

We just stayed for the fourth time at Central Boutique Angkor Hotel and it was perfect again. This time we stayed for 12 days. We come every year to Siem Reap and since we stayed at CBAH we always came back. The hotel is tucked away in a little alley in a more quiet area of Siem Reap, a ten minute walk to the old market area. There were first only a few rooms around a swimming pool, but know they expanded with another beautiful pool and more rooms. There are a lot of plants and trees around the place, which give a lot of privacy.

The breakfast was already good, but has improved over the last times we came back. Bread, toast, eggs, yoghurt and cereals, fried rice and noodles, porridge and fruits. The restaurant has a lot of choice (western as well as asian), the chicken club sandwich is a reccomendation! Furthermore, they have really friendly and helpful staff. Always helping with luggage, arranging transport, or all other requests you can think of.

The rooms are spacious and clean, also provided with television, aircon, supplies for coffee and tea, a little veranda/ balcony to relax, a large closet for your clothes, etc. In our opinion it is great value for money. We will keep coming back!

They offer a free pick up form the airport.

We have triple room big with 3 big bed, very clean and confortable; water , tea and coffee complimentary. Big Balcony with a beautiful view

Very kind people at the reception

I really suggest this hotel for your visit to Angkor temples

Don't be put off by the approach to this fine hotel. Up a secondary road and then a scruffy lane. Once you are past the car park you enter a haven of fragance and peace. The basic rooms are not top notch but have all the usual facilities. Clean and tidy garden rooms can be just a step from the top quality pools and there is a poolside bar. Good breakfasts served near the pool. A short, cheap, tuc-tuc ride to the centrew of Siem Reap and with all day tuc-tuc tours of Angkor at around $15 from your hotel it takes some beating.

This was a great location for being close to pub street and the ruins were easily accessible as well. They picked us up from the airport free of charge and they staff was great but don't count on the packed breakfast for an Ankor Wat sunrise. It wasn't ready at the time we booked it for. We loved the pool area and the room was clean and a good size. Breakfast was great. Would totally stay here again.

This was really a nice place to stay at. The staff were friendly and helped us a lot to get more information about tours, transport, and guides.
The rooms were huge and very clean and tidy. The air-conditioning worked well and there were plentiful English Channels on TV.
The pools an the restaurant were very nice and relaxing. The location is close enough to where you want to go for some shopping, eating, and drinking.
There is really nothing I can complain about!

Room Tip: Rooms around the pools can get a bit noisy!
